The morning light filtered through the half-drawn curtains, painting the room in soft shades of gold. Daenys slowly awoke, wrapped in soft sheets and the comforting warmth of Cregan's arms. A gentle smile curved her lips as she felt his presence beside her, recalling the intense moments of the previous night.

With a contented sigh, she turned to find Cregan's eyes watching her with tenderness and admiration. Their gazes met in an intimate moment, exchanging silent promises and renewing the vows they made to each other.

Cregan, with a gentle smile, caressed Daenys's face, capturing her attention with a knowing look full of love. Together, they shared a moment of serenity and intimacy, diving deep into the profound connection that united them.

"Good morning, my beautiful dragonling," he said. "How do you feel today?"

"Good morning, my wolf," she replied. "I'm incredibly happy. And you?"

"I'm radiant. Spending this first night together as husband and wife was a moment I will never forget,"  he confessed.

"I agree. It was magical. I feel so grateful that I at least married someone I knew and who isn't much older than me,"  she murmured, playing with her new husband's hand as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

"And I am grateful to have you,"  he replied softly.

As the sun continued to rise on the horizon, illuminating the room with its gentle light, Daenys and Cregan prepared to get up.

"Did you really think I could run away from the wedding?"  she asked, recalling her friends' worry as they searched for her the morning before when she had gone dragon flying.

"I must admit, for a brief moment, worry settled in my heart. But I soon realized that it would be impossible for you to flee from such an important commitment, especially with someone as extraordinary as me,"  he joked, a smile playing on his lips.

"Oh, so you always had such confidence in me?"  she asked, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Of course. I know your determination and courage, Daenys. You would never run away from your commitments, especially not one as significant as our marriage,"  he said, sincerity lacing his voice.

"Well, you're right. No matter how nervous I may have felt, it never crossed my mind to back out,"  she admitted, a tender smile lighting her features.

"And I am very grateful for that. I can hardly wait to face all the challenges life throws our way, by your side,"  he said, gently touching Daenys's hand.

"Neither can I, Cregan. I'm looking forward to facing the future by your side, with all the love and happiness we can share together,"  she responded, lightly squeezing his hand.

"I know you're the perfect choice to be the Lady of the North. Even if my father hadn't made this agreement, I would choose you. Even with our somewhat difficult relationship, I would choose you,"  he murmured, and the Targaryen looked at him with a smile, ready to tease.

"Don't tell me you've already fallen for me, dear wolf,"  she said, provoking the Stark.

"Well, you know how it is, princess. I can't resist your undeniable charm and captivating beauty,"  he replied, playful, but with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes.

"Oh, is that it? I guess we'll have to live with the fortune of being so irresistible to each other," She retorted, a mischievous smile dancing on her lips.

"It seems we will indeed. Fortune is on our side, Daenys," he responded, a conspiratorial smile on his face.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way, my dear wolf," she said, a look of mock affection on her face as she intertwined her fingers with his.
