It was a bright and sunny morning in King's Landing, and the air was filled with anticipation. Daenys Targaryen, now officially crowned and solidified on the throne, had announced an important event to promote the evolution and well-being of the people. The Evolution Festival promised to be a day of celebration, learning, and growth for all the inhabitants of the Seven Kingdoms.

In the large courtyard of the Red Keep, colorful tents had been set up, and tables laden with fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, and other delights were arranged for an outdoor feast. There was a space dedicated to demonstrating new agricultural technologies, advanced remedies brought from Essos, and innovative crafts. Artists from all over the realm showcased their skills, enchanting the audience.

Daenys, dressed in a royal tunic adorned with the Targaryen sigil, circulated among the guests, accompanied by Cregan Stark. She stopped to talk with the villagers, listened to their concerns, and thanked them for their contributions.

"This event is for you," - she announced with a warm smile. "I want everyone to feel part of this kingdom, and to know that your voices are heard and your needs are important."

Cregan nodded, looking at his wife with admiration.

"The unity and progress of our people is our priority," - he added. "We are here to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive."

The Evolution Festival had several thematic areas. Cassandra and Eleanor, as masters of whispers, organized knowledge-sharing sessions where villagers could learn about safety, health, and sustainable farming strategies. Rickon, as master of guards, supervised demonstrations of self-defense techniques to ensure everyone felt safe in their homes.

"Learning to protect yourself is essential," - he explained while showing some basic moves to a group of young people. "With knowledge and practice, you can face any challenge."

Aegon and Viserra, masters of beverages, had prepared a variety of herbal infusions and medicinal mixes to show the villagers the benefits of healthy drinks.

"It's not just about savoring," - Viserra said, offering a cup to a young villager. "It's about taking care of yourself and your family."

Jane, responsible for the gardens, organized a planting session where villagers could learn about sustainable gardening and the importance of biodiversity.

"Every plant has its place," - she explained, helping a child plant a seedling. "And all are essential for a healthy ecosystem."

As the day progressed, the activities intensified.

Allys, as a healer, conducted demonstrations of first aid and basic treatments, while Maester Kelvyn offered free medical consultations.

"Health is the foundation of a strong community," - she said while bandaging the hand of a young person who had a minor injury.

Jane, responsible for the gardens, showed the villagers how they could create their own gardens at home, emphasizing the importance of self-sufficiency.

"With a small space and dedication, you can grow healthy food for your families."

Aemond, master of law, led sessions on the rights and duties of citizens, explaining the new laws that Daenys had implemented to protect the most vulnerable.

"Justice is the pillar of any prosperous society," - he said, answering questions and concerns from the villagers.

As night fell, a large bonfire was lit in the center of the courtyard, and everyone gathered around to hear stories and music. Rickon picked up his lute and began to play a soft melody while Rhaenyra told ancient tales of Westeros.

The atmosphere was filled with hope and determination. The Evolution Festival was not just a one-day event but a symbol of Daenys' commitment to the continuous improvement of her kingdom. She knew that the true strength of a realm came from its people, and she was determined to ensure that everyone had the tools and knowledge to thrive.

As soon as they returned to the castle, Daenys went to the chambers where Alicent was confined, bringing her dinner.

"Eat," - she commented, handing her the dinner and sitting in a nearby chair, watching her eat. "How have you been?"

Alicent paused and shrugged thoughtfully.

"It's not too bad. Now and then, Helaena shows up to keep me company. Aemond came a few times, just bringing me some books," - she murmured to Daenys. "I heard I'm going to be a grandmother for the second time."

"Yes... Helaena is pregnant with Aerion," - Daenys commented, and a silence fell as Alicent returned to her dinner.

After a few minutes, Hightower stopped eating.

"Daeron and Baelon visited me once. I didn't know how to react or what to say. How are they?" - she murmured.

"Both are brave... intelligent... Baelon is skilled with swords and daggers, Daeron is as adept with the lute as he is with the sword... they were known as 'the Prince of the Green Glades' and 'the Bold Prince'... and are present in the dreams of many young ladies, but the only ones they are interested in are Daenora and Valyra," - she commented, pausing slightly to observe Alicent. "They are kind... more so Daeron than Baelon, but they are."

"That's good," - Alicent murmured. "Kindness is a quality I find lacking a bit in the brothers."

"You did well to send him to Winterfell; in fact, it was good for both. It seems the Red Keep, with all its privileges, has not been the same since my mother died, and it can indeed be an unhealthy environment for raising young men..."

"By the court or by their mother?" - she commented with a sly smile that was returned.

"I'm sure you did your best," - Daenys commented with a small smile, getting up to take the dirty plate and utensils out of the room.
