The abrupt shift in weather has evidently arrived at Cair Paravel. The previously bright and sunny conditions have transformed dramatically, leaving Peter, Susan, and Lucy in a state of confusion. Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Cair Paravel are preoccupied with their responsibilities, unaware of the circumstances surrounding their brother Edmund and their cherished friend Stella-Maris.

"That's strange," Susan remarks, her blue eyes gazing at the now overcast skies.

"What is?" Peter asked.

The Gentle Queen explained, "I am uncertain. One moment, the weather was pleasant, and the next, it turned gloomy."

Lucy let out a sigh while taking a seat on the bench next to them. "That's unfortunate. I was genuinely anticipating the sunny weather today, especially with the possibility of Edmund and Stella-Maris arriving in Cair Paravel this afternoon."

Peter smiled to himself as a thought crossed his mind. "I wonder how those two are doing?"

Susan expressed her frustration with his childish behavior. "I have no doubt they are fulfilling their responsibilities as king and princess, Pete. What else do you believe they could be occupied with?"

The Magnificent King raised his shoulders and folded his arms. "Well, considering it's just the two of them, a great deal can occur."

Lucy chuckled, fully aware of what Peter was about to express. In contrast, Susan gasped and playfully hit her older brother's arm. "Edmund would never act that way! You know how much he respects Stella-Maris." Lucy and Peter exchanged amused glances, their faces nearly flushed.

Their playful conversation was abruptly halted when Lucy spotted a massive orb of brilliant light approaching Cair Paravel. "Look!"

Immediately, Susan and Peter turned their gaze toward the horizon. They recognized it instantly as King Solar and Queen Selene. However, the size of the light was much larger than they were accustomed to. The radiant orb descended onto the sand, unveiling King Solar, Queen Selene, Xander, General Orion, and a substantial Etherean army following them.

The Pevensie siblings felt a surge of concern as they noticed the urgent expressions on the faces of the King and Queen of Etherea.

"King Solar. Queen Selene, what brings you to Cair Paravel?" Peter inquired, perplexed, as he approached the Etherean rulers, accompanied by Susan and Lucy.

"You will soon find out, King Peter," replied Queen Selene, her tone tinged with sadness.

Susan furrowed her brow, clearly confused.  "What are you talking about?"

Oreius, the general of their army, rode swiftly toward the three Pevensies, his expression filled with concern and urgency. "Your Majesties, you must come with me at once."

Without hesitation, the Pevensies, along with the Etherean king and queen, accompanied the centaur into the castle. The sharp sound of their footsteps echoed against the tiled floor as they hurried inside.

"Someone better start explaining what in Aslan's mane is going on?" Lucy burst out, unable to contain her anxiety any longer.

As they approached the courtyard, astonishment washed over their faces upon seeing King Lune, Duke Lunar, the Archenland army, and Phillip waiting for them. Susan, Peter, and Lucy felt their hearts racing.

Their concerns intensified as they observed Phillip's disheveled and weary appearance.

Lucy approached Phillip, her brother's loyal companion, and warmly embraced the creature, welcoming it with open arms.

"Your Majesties," King Lune began. "Earlier today, our scouts discovered Phillip, King Edmund's horse, galloping towards the frontier between Calormen and Archenland. He was swiftly brought to us and conveyed some alarming information."

"King Edmund, Princess Stella-Maris, and your forces have been ambushed. A group of 30 armed men launched an attack against them, your grace," Duke Lunar disclosed.

Susan and Lucy were quick to shed tears upon receiving the news. Queen Selene also felt the sting of sorrow as she learned about her daughter's fate.

"How come my daughter did not come with you?" Queen Selene inquired, her hands trembling with emotion.

Phillip sensed the tears welling up in his own eyes. "She was meant to travel with me, Queen Selene. However, once I crossed the river, she summoned the water, creating a barrier between us."

Susan inquired, covering her mouth with her hand, "She returned for Edmund, didn't she?"

Phillip confirmed with a nod, "Indeed, Queen Susan."

Peter, with a firm tone, pressed for information. "And what about my brother?"

Phillip responds, "The last time I encountered him, he was meant to accompany Stella-Maris, but he chose to remain behind, allowing the princess ample opportunity to flee."

Lucy pivoted and approached Queen Selene and King Solar. "Is this why you came? Are you aware of everything that's happening?"

King Solar affirmed with a nod. "My wife got a message from her mother, Queen Marissa, indicating that our daughter was in serious peril. That's why we rushed here without delay."

"Although we were uncertain about the specifics of her situation, I had a strong intuition that she required our assistance," Queen Selene interjected.

Peter faced Oreius, his expression resolute. "Assemble all Narnian soldiers, Oreius. Ready our weapons and yours—everything we have. We will search for my brother and Princess Stella-Maris."

He then addressed the group. "We will scour every part of Narnia if necessary. We must locate them both before time runs out."
