The Prophecy (1)

No one's pov.

It's been 10 years since the crystal king took over Ninjago and 7 years since the ninja stopped him. Harumi had proven herself and now she and Lloyd were sitting in the Monastery of Spinjitsu eagerly waiting for Cole to bring in the Gender reveal cake from the neighbouring room. No one trusted Cole to bring the cake but he resisted and went anyway. Eri -Jay and Nyas son- was running around the house dancing, and Nya and Jay were giggling, he had learnt how to walk last week and now that's all he did. Lloyd glanced over at Harumi. She was wearing a tight jade green dress to make it clear that she was pregnant, light makeup and her Long white hair was in a loose bun held together by chopsticks. Lloyd was just about to turn around when he heard Cole shout "I'm back!" From the door.

Lloyds pov.I was excited- well, that was a bit of an understatement- to see what Gender our Child would be when I looked at Harumi, she was sweating, that was obviously because of what she was wearing, I knew she hated wearing tight dresses so this must mean a lot to her. I was just about to finish checking her out when I heard Cole declare he was back. Thank god. The suspense was killing me. I was smiling so much my face started to hurt, but I couldn't stop. I helped Rumi into the chair by the table as Cole placed the cake Infront of us. Everyone started recording, my mum was in the corner and she was sobbing non-stop, I normally would've comforted her but I knew they were happy tears. Slowly, me and Harumi cut into the cake making a small triangular slice. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw.

"A boy and girl?!" Kai said confused. The cake was a mixture of blue and pink. That's when it hit me "We're having twins" I said quietly, although I was grinning, ear to ear.

Master Wu's pov.

Everyone was cheering and slowly going over to congratulate the pair, and so did I but in my mind I was worried. How exactly was the prophecy supposed to come true now? Misako shook my arm, I looked at her and she had a big smile on her face and I could tell she had been crying from happiness. "Are you alright Wu?" She questioned. No, I'm not alright I don't know how to tell your son that he's going to have to make a decision that could change the world. "Yes, I'm fine," I said smiling, as I hurried over to congratulate the young couple.

Time skip

Lloyds pov

It was the day, the day we had been waiting for almost the whole year. 

Harumi looked happy but I could tell she felt pain inside. Her hand was intertwined with mine and was squeezing it to the point that I had lost all blood circulation in my hand, but I didn't mind. She was going through a lot. I tried to distract her by showing her pictures of our dates over the past few years. It worked. I was just about to show her a picture of us at Mega Monster Amusement Park when Wu came in looking worried. 

"Lloyd, my nephew, I need to talk to you urgently." He looked down at Harumi and smiled, I'll only be a minute," I sighed, kissing Harumi on the forehead "I'll be right back Rumi," I let go of her hand and hurried out of the hospital room with Master Wu. 

I followed him down the hall and into a small private waiting room. "My Nephew, I have kept the secret long enough," he started, I was utterly confused. He rummaged through his bag and found an amazing old and battered scroll, much like the one with Prophecy of the Green Ninja, "I don't understand Master," I said as I looked down at the traditional Japanese writing formed on the brown paper. Master Wu sighed, "My Nephew, Lloyd, there is a prophecy, much like the prophecy of the green ninja, that the Legendary Green Ninja's child will take his role, but this child will be gifted with powers greater than yours, for they will share the power of every element, therefore becoming the Ultimate Elemental Master." He said grandly, "However there is a problem-" Master Wu was cut off by Lloyd, "We're having twins?"

"Precisely, that is why you will have to make your biggest decision ever. You'll have to choose between your daughter or your son, it is written in the scrolls that we'll have to do a sacred ritual to give your child their powers, You'll have to train them after the ritual and then, the night when your child turns 15, the powers will reveal themselves."

"But that's ok Master Wu! I'll just pick the firstborn! It shouldn't be that difficult?" I exclaimed, Master Wu simply sighed and I was confused again, why was he so worried?
