Elloras pov.

It was Monday, and the boys and I were dropped off at school. We had new timetables. Mine looked like this:

Ugh, today's going to be the worst. I headed over to my best friend, "Hey Ell!" Hazel Takahashi calls me. I ran to her. "Hey, Zel! Wanna exchange timetables?" She nods and passes me her timetable. It looked like this:

"Cool! We have chemistry and mechanics together!" I said "Yes! I'm excited for mecha-" the bell cut her off. "Aw gotta dash! My class is on the other side of the school!" She yelled, running to her class. I quickly headed over to my form and sat down. I looked around at the familiar and unfamiliar faces. The teacher took the register and let us all talk amongst ourselves. Suddenly the door opened and Eri walked in. "Sorry, I'm late, miss!" Ugh, he's always into dramatic entrances. He smiled at the teacher and then walked over and sat down in the chair on my right. "How were you late? We came to school at the same time!" He smiled "I dunno, lost track of time I guess." I rolled my eyes. "Wanna exchange timetables?" He nodded, grabbed it out of his bag and handed it to me. It looked like this:

"Oh you have mechanics with me," he said smiling. How can he smile so much? "Yeah, my friend has it too. I guess we're all gonna be in the same class." I said. "So, what are you doing at lunch?" He asked, I stared at him, "I guess just hanging with my friends?" I replied, "Oh alright," he said, he looked a bit discouraged. Wow. Does he have a crush on me? If he does, he's being very obvious. I looked at his cerulean blue eyes, they looked like the ocean, and his raven-coloured hair was a perfect compliment to that. Ugh, I'm falling for him too. "So, are you free at lunch?" I couldn't help myself, he smiled and nodded, the bell rang and I headed over to Homeroom.
Maybe today isn't going to be the worst.
P.E. was over, finally. I was heading over to mechanics when I saw Hazel, "Zel wait up!" I shouted and ran over to her, we chatted about our day all the way. I opened the door to the classroom to see Eri smiling and waving to me, next to NO my brother? Ugh, I can't believe it. I sat down in an empty seat and Hazel sat down next to me. The teacher introduced himself as Sensei Nakamura, we all greeted him and sat down. After a while, he declared he was going to put us in pairs for the project, and Hazel looked at each other hoping we'd be paired up but the teacher asked for our attention.
The roll came out:
Hazel and Ema
Ellora and Eri
Arthur and Haruki
(A whole bunch of others but I can't get my lazy brain to think of random names so yah <3)
I looked shocked and I was. Out of all people? But I shook it off and sat down next to Eri. The teacher explained that our project was to design and create a model of an aircraft with full detail, this was also going to be a competition. Me and Eri's eyes linked, I already knew what he was thinking, Lego. I grabbed a piece of paper when the teacher sat down and we got to work. "So I'm guessing we're partners for the rest of the year?" He asked while smiling, I still don't get how he can smile so naturally. "Seems like it," I said, returning the smile. We wrote and drew a whole bunch of stuff during that period and when the teacher came around he said he was impressed. We high-fived before leaving the class at the end of the period. I ran over to Zel. "Um... Hey Eri and I are gonna work on our project together at lunch so, if that's alright?" She raised her eyebrow, "Ell, I saw the way you look at him," my face turned bright red, "but yeah that's alright, I have to catch up on chem homework anyways." I thanked her and ran back to Eri who offered his hand to me. I took it, still a blushing mess.
We headed over to the native grove behind our school and sat in a small sunny patch by some trees. "So what do you want to talk about?" I asked while taking out my lunch, yum sushi! "Oh, I'm not sure, do you think we should add anything to our design?" He asked, eyeing my sushi. I giggled and picked up my unused chopsticks, "Here you can have one," I said, smiling. He thanked me and took it into his hand, stuffing it into his mouth. "Someone's hungry?" I said, trying not to choke on my sushi. He blushed, swallowed and then whipped out our designs, we spent the rest of lunch eating and upgrading our design. We planned to start building it as soon as we got home. It was going to be the best.

A/N: I'm open to suggestions on what I should write in the next chapter because I want a bit of a gap between now and my final chapter!!!
