The Truth (3)

Elloras pov.

It's been exactly 14 years since me and Haruki were born, and here I am sitting at the dining table as our cake melts and the ninjas run around because Haruki has, no surprise, gone missing on his birthday. 

I knew he wasn't missing, he was out with his friends illegally drinking, vaping or vandalising buildings in Jamonikai Village. So much for becoming the green ninja. He's ruined my birthday as well as he ruins everything else for me. I usually shut up about it but right now I was especially mad. 

As I was sulking I heard Jay scream- oops sorry I meant squeal because he broke a vase. Honestly, how did he become a ninja? But that's when I had enough. "GUYS STOP," I command the ninja. Glaring at them all. " I'm going to get Haruki all of you stay here I'll be back in 10 minutes." I stated still glaring, I'm glad my father wasn't here, he would usually tell me to 'calm down' and take a deep breath. 

I grabbed my bag, did a goofy 'salute' to signal "goodbye" to the ninja and I stepped out of the Monastery. As I was leaving I heard Kai say "I swear, that kid terrifies me," I smiled as I skipped down the Mountain, my long black hair flying in the wind as I headed toward Jamonikai village. 

I didn't need to search much until I found myself facing my brother and his thug- ah I mean friends in an alleyway next to a vape store. "HARUKI SATO GARMADON!" I yelled as I caught him Vaping a grape-flavoured vape in the alleyway. He looked at me and smirked, "Why isn't it my favourite sister?" He signaled something to his friends and they all started snickering. "I didn't come all this way to hear you make some jokes, You need to come home, Mum is worried sick, not to mention all the other ninjas including Dad." I ended while signing for Haruki to follow me, I turned around when I saw one of Haruki's friends, Hiro, Looking down at me, "Good morning princess," he smiled, but not one of those nice smiles that the ninja gives me but an evil smile, one that leaked my grandfather Garmadons stench. "I go by Ellora, not Princess, thank you very much." I snapped at him, "Really? I thought that if your mum was the empress of Ninjago that would mean you're the princess and so surely that would be a good title for you?" He rambled, "Yeah, I don't think so," I started but before I could continue I heard Haruki and his minions- I mean friends, whisper something that I could partially make out so I jumped up and grabbed onto a laundry line, much to my delight, they wanted to throw them a bucket of dirty water on me, and not to mention my favourite black cargo pants and dark red shirt but the plan backfired and the water landed all over Hiro. I laughed my head off before reaching down with my legs and grabbing Haruki by his collar. "sorry to crash the party boys but this brat needs to go home to open his presents." I said, Innocently smiling the whole time. Finally, I dropped my brother and jumped off the laundry line. I ran back to the monastery, I turned around, Yes! I had annoyed my brother off enough to get him to follow me home! I was smiling when I re-entered the Monastery, Lloyd saw me and grabbed a hold of me before I could run back to my seat and pretend that nothing had happened. "Easy there tiger!" My Dad exclaimed before he saw Haruki enter the house, swearing under his breath. Dad let go of me and everyone rushed to him, even Lightning the chicken!

Looking at the blob icing that covered what used to be my birthday cake, I sighed and headed over it my room, until I remembered that I was sharing with Haruki because Eri needed his ownroom now that he is 15. I sighed for the 100th time that day and laid down on my bed. I heard everyone singing, well more like shouting, Happy Birthday to Haruki next door, but no one was bursting through my door to get me, obviously. I was insignificant, I don't know why I even thought they'd come and fetch me.
