Since Joe moved in with Murr.
Impractical Jokers was still better than ever! Murr was married! He had a house with the love of his life, or so he thought. Murr was getting brand deals, getting invited on podcasts, going on tour. Everything was going his way! While Murr's life seemed to be on fire with success and happiness, Sal couldn't help but feel a pang of envy. He was happy for him, of course, but for Sal, he wasn't as successful. He was doing comedy stand-up and it was doing okay. Atleast he's doing what he enjoys doing! And before you knew it, they had a meet up! It was a bittersweet reunion, the gang was back together, laughing and just having fun. Yet for Murr, the sight of Sal was like a stab to the heart. He felt a pang of guilt and sadness, knowing that the life he truly wanted with Sal could never happen. He had a wife now, committed to a life that was normalized. If only things had been different, if only Sal was a girl, perhaps he could have had the love he wanted to share. On the other hand, Sal's heart ached as he watched Murr interact with his wife. Each smile, each laugh, each touch felt like a reminder of what they could have been. He still longed for Murr, still yearned for the bond they had once shared. But now, Murr was married, committed to someone else. Sal couldn't help but wonder what could have been if things had been different. If he was a woman, maybe they could have been together. Perhaps in another life, in another world, they would have been allowed to love one another without judgment. But perhaps it wasn't meant to be, at least not in this life. Sal just had to face reality. Their friendship was forever changed, and it won't ever be the same. It was private though, Sal and Murr's thoughts, they never told each other, they never told anyone. The glint in their eyes, the way they would laugh near each other, the way they felt each other's aura. That was enough for them. Maybe in another world, they could be walking hand in hand through a park, laughing and chatting, as carefree as they were in their youth. There was no need to hide their love, to be free.
