Prompt: Nosebleed

As she laid on the floor, she opted to just listen to the ticking of the clock. It hadn't been long since her companion had left the apartment, but she was already bored.
While he went to go do his job during the day, she had to wait inside this room until he got back. Then they could finally go hang out together. But until then, she was stuck.
She sighed in slight frustration as the ticking of the clock seemed to ring louder in her ears. Oh how she longed to go play outside with Paras, feeling the crisp autumn leaves under her feet, yipping happily as she was finally able to run around with her friend.
When the clock ticked again, still sounding exceptionally loud to her, she finally stood up. She cast a death glare to the clock, but because it was a clock, of course, it didn't respond.
So huffed in anger and impatience as she hopped onto the small bed that occupied the apartment. It creaked loudly under the sudden pressure, but still held firmly. She laid down and hung her head over the side, hoping to distract herself by doing anything different.
She inhaled, feeling the dry air even in the apartment as she continued to wait for Paras to return.
She had just closed her three eyes for a moment when she opened them to see something dripping onto the floor. There wasn't much, but it was red.
She tilted her head in confusion as she realized that it was coming from her.
Oh. Was this a thing that happened to mortal bodies?
She found herself a little bit creeped out by the thought. Were their bodies just like little water balloons, that could literally explode if they were impaled too hard, or got squeezed with too much force?
She shuddered as she finally reached a clawed hand to her nose, trying to stop the bleeding. She wasn't an expert, but she was pretty sure the bleeding was caused by the dry air around her.
Good thing she had listened to a few of Paras' rambling about the wintertime and its inconveniences. She might have been beginning to understand why her friend hated it so much.
She sighed once again, this time with one hand over her nose, squeezing it so she wouldn't bleed anymore. She'd ask Paras about it when he got home. It wasn't like she could even do anything about it anyway.

I decided to do something that isn't body horror or character death while I still have a chance. Later in the month, the prompts get really crazy, and I'm really excited to draw more intense stuff for those days.
But for now, just enjoy this cute little creature chillin' at home without any major trauma happening to them! X3
BUT then again, this is my newest oc, and therefore I have not given them trauma yet. So...ideas are welcome!
(dw tomorrow I'm drawing Rainbow Friends again)
Thanks for stopping by and may you have a great day/night!
