*Ashtons POV*

I wake up the next day to Alex lightly snoring next to me. That is one of the many things I love about her. I get up and I walk over to Alex's bag and I set it on the bed for her when she wakes up. I grab my clothes and I walk into the bathroom to start my shower. 

I get out and I wrap the towel around my waist and I walk over to my clothes. Shit, forgot boxers. I walk out of the door, running into Alex. She looks at me up and down then up to meet my eyes. 

"Morning." She says, biting her lip and taking a step back. 

I give her a small smile and I walk past her and over to my bag, I grab a pair of boxers and I turn around and I look at her. "Morning, babe." I say, hesitantly. Shit, was that too much? 

She half smiles, but it soon fades. "I need to talk to Jackson sometime today so when you are ready could you please take me down there?" She asks, her voice low. She better not take him the fuck back or I will come after him again.

"Yeah, sure. Do you want me to come along with you?" I ask, I hope to god she says yes. 

"No, I think we should talk through everything alone." She says and I nod. Yeah I that would probably be a good idea, I would probably get pissed at Jackson and break his ugly ass face. 

I finish getting dressed and Alex gets ready also. Alex gets out of the shower and came out with a towel wrapped around her body. I try hard not to look at her, but I can't help myself. She grabs her clothes out of her duffel bag that she brought. She didn't notice me and I was glad, this was the time that I was supposed to savor. Because of her, she has made my life bearable to live in. 

Alex goes back into the bathroom to change, and I stand there regretting every moment that I have missed in Alex's life. 

I sit down on the bed and I run my hand through my hair. I am just glad we found each other again, or I found her again. 

I decide to text Luke. I have nothing to do while Alex is with Jackson. He was here staying with Anna. They have been getting pretty serious and it actually scares me. He usually is not the type to settle down with a girl.

Alex walks out of the bathroom in a simple t-shirt and some jean shorts. It was the middle of July so it was pretty hot here in Miami. 

I stand up and I walk over and I grab my keys from the side table. I look over at her as she grabs her phone and she slides it into her pocket. 

"Ready?" I ask her. She gives me a small nod and we walk out of the hotel and to my car. I really didn't want her to talk to Jackson but they did need to talk and I really hope she tells him that they are done because it will break me if she takes him back.

  The drive to Alex's apartment was quiet. I didn't know what to say to her, and she seems like she doesn't know what to say either. 

I didn't know what to do so I did the thing that I always used to do, I took her hand in mine and I kept driving. 

Five minutes later I dropped off Alex at her apartment, and then I made my way towards the apartment that Luke was at with Anna. 

I got to the apartment, and made my way up. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. I wasn't expecting Anna to open it and run into my arms saying how much she missed me. 

"Uh, missed you too?" Anna just laughed at me. "Ashton I am so glad that you are here." She smiles brightly at me. She motions me to come in, I walk in, and I make my way with Anna to what I assume is the living room. I see Luke and I greet him and sit down on the couch. A minute later I see Anna come in and sit closely to Luke. 

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Anna and Luke talking and smiling at each other. Never in my life have I seen Luke in a relationship, and he looked happy, and so did Anna. I wanted to have that with Alex. 

"Aye, mate!" I hear and I see Calum. Why was Calum here? "Calum, why are you here?" I ask him, he smiles, "I had no where to stay, and when I heard Luke talking about staying here at Anna's for a while, I asked him if it was okay with him and Anna if I could stay." I nod understanding him why he would choose to stay here instead of staying in a hotel. 

Calum sits down and he runs a hand through his brown with blonde in his hair. Looks like he is trying out a new hairstyle. 

"So, how did you guys like the wedding last night?" Luke asks, reaching down and grabbing the love of his life's hand. 

"It was alright, boring." I shrug, its true. It was so boring. 

"I enjoyed it." Calum smirks slightly and he sinks down more into his seat. 

"What? Did you find a girl to bring home?" Luke chuckles and grabs the drink that was on the table and takes a drink.

Calum chuckles slightly and he glances at me then back at Luke. "No, I tried but you know some girls are just so stubborn." He says. I sit there trying to think of all the women that were at the wedding, but most of them were all Alex's mothers age. Wait... Alex was one the only one my age, I saw her going to the bathroom, and then I saw Calum, but I was confused why he was there. I thought he was invited to the wedding, but he wasn't. He went to the bathroom because he was going after Alex.

I sit up and I look at Calum. "Alex was the girl. Wasn't she?" I sigh, getting annoyed and angry. he smirks and looks at me. 

"Yeah." He says, "She only let me go so far though. I pinned her against the wall and kissed her neck. She loved it she just didn't want to admit it. I slowly slid my hands up her thigh-" before he could finish I tackle into him and I slam his head onto the hardwood floor. He should know by now not to mess with her.

"Fuck you!" I yell, punching him hard in the face. 

"Ashton!" Luke grabs my shirt and pulls me back but I push him back and I lunge after Calum once more. Calum swings at me and punches me in my jaw. That just makes me angrier and I start punching him, one punch after the other. I hear Luke call my name along with Anna but I didn't give a fuck. He touched her. 

Luke comes behind me and pulls me back from him once more. I look at the damage I did to his face. He deserved it. 

I turn around quickly heading for the door, I reach for the handle until it turns and Alex walks in looking angry. She pushes past me and looks at Calum who was lying on the floor.

"What did you do?" She asks, turning back around and looking at me. 

"Don't be all mad at me! I should be the one mad at you. You and Calum in the bathroom at your moms wedding?! That's sick." I say, I am beyond angry.

"What? No, he was all over me but I wanted nothing to do with it!" She yells stepping closer to me.

"Bullshit." I spit in her face, I take a step closer to her.

"Why do you even care? We aren't together!" She yells and it hurts to hear her say it, a lot. 

I take a deep breath and I look down and I run a hand through my hair, not even knowing what to say. 

"Your right, so I shouldn't even care if you and Calum hooked up. I could care less about you and him together." I snap.

I could see the hurt in her eyes, but she was trying hard not to show that it effected her.

"Why do you always assume that I don't even care for you, Ashton? I care so much that it hurts. When you left, I cried my eyes out for months. It wasn't the same when you were gone. So you can go around telling yourself that I don't care. But just to let you know, I never hooked up with Calum at the wedding, he came on to me. I was almost raped by him."

I stood there taking in everything that she said. I am so stupid. Why do I always let myself get to upset at her. I know she cares for me. I always knew that.

I look at her and I grab her waist and I kiss her gently needing to feel her lips again. It felt so good as she kissed me back and wrapped her arms around my waist. It felt so damn good.

She pulls back, blushing and she looks around at everyone. I grab her waist and I pull her close to me.

She lays her forehead on my chest. "I love you." She whispers.
