Viewing Deck“Come on! Just tell me!” Y/N pleaded, leaning against the railing of the viewing deck.
B-15 shook her head, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. “There’s not much to tell, Y/N. I’ve told you everything already. He came here a long time ago and turned this place upside down. Back then, this whole operation was chaos—you wouldn’t believe it. He opened our eyes to the beyond, but…” She paused, her expression darkening. “Turned out the beyond wasn’t so great. It made everything worse. More war, more death, more suffering. Pain everywhere. This place became a disaster.”
“Oh, come on, you told me the exact same thing last time!” Y/N groaned, crossing her arms.
B-15 chuckled as she turned to leave. “Because there’s not much more to tell.”
As the hunter disappeared into the corridor, Y/N stood alone, gazing out at the sprawling web of timelines. The blue-green glow reflected on her face as she stared, the intertwining branches holding her attention.
“How can there be no more to tell?” she whispered to herself before sighing. Glancing back one last time, she walked away, her curiosity far from satisfied.

Courtroom“There she is! My favorite analyst!” Mobius greeted, pushing a stack of paperwork aside.
Y/N approached the desk where Mobius stood, the sage-green walls of the courtroom casting a calm but solemn atmosphere. “Mobius, I need to talk to you.”
His face shifted, a subtle mix of amusement and reluctance. “Not that again. We’ve been through this.”
“I know, I know,” Y/N admitted, her frustration evident. “But it’s bugging me. I don’t even know why. Can’t you at least tell me more about him?”
Mobius sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Let’s get some pie first.”
“Fine. Key lime.”
He smirked knowingly. “That was his favorite.”

Café“He had this... strangely beautiful nature,” Mobius began, his fork idly tracing circles on his plate. “A broken thing. Poor broken thing. And a narcissist, too,” he added with a chuckle.
“How so?” Y/N asked, leaning back in her chair as she took another bite of pie.
Mobius hesitated, his gaze drifting to the wall as if lost in thought. “It’s not my place to say. But considering how short his time here was… he really changed a lot.”
Y/N watched him carefully. “It seems like you two had some sort of special bond.”
Mobius let out a laugh and stood up, carrying his plate to the counter. As he walked away, Y/N caught a faint mumble.
“If only you knew.”
And with that, he was gone, leaving her alone in the quiet café.

File Library“Hey, Sash.”
The librarian didn’t respond, their focus entirely on the slow, deliberate keystrokes on their computer. Letter by letter. Word by word.
Y/N sighed and tapped the small bell on the desk, the sharp ding finally catching their attention.
“How can I help you?” the librarian asked, their tone flat.
Y/N forced a polite smile. “I’d like all files on the creation of the TVA.”
“Those are classified.”
“Okay… what about files on the beginning of time?”
“Those are classified.”
“Fine. Files on the creator of the TVA?”
“Those are classified.”
Y/N’s frustration bubbled over. “Well, what files can I have?!” Her voice echoed through the library, earning a chorus of disapproving shushes from other librarians.
The librarian stood up, gesturing for Y/N to follow them. Moments later, a hefty stack of files was thrust into her hands.
“Happy reading.”
Y/N flipped through the files in a corner of the library, her disappointment growing with each page. The information led nowhere. She was at another dead end.
Determined not to give up, she decided to follow Mobius and Hunter B-15, keeping a careful distance. It wasn’t long before she overheard them mentioning a name.
“Sylvie.”
Y/N’s ears perked up. Mobius and B-15 often discussed what had happened before, and now she had something new to chase.
Maybe, just maybe, this name would lead her somewhere.
