31. How

I stared into the koi pond, my eyes hurt.

"How did you find out?" I asked quietly.

"An uncle."

"An uncle?" I looked at him confused.

I don't have any siblings and as far as I know, neither does Gun. His cousin killed himself when he was about 13 so who the hell is this uncle?

"Did he give you a name?"

He shook his head.

"Okay, well... this conversation never happened. And don't tell your dad or brother anything. I can't change anything so it's better to pretend you know nothing." I pulled him closer and kissed his cheeks.

He frowned.

"But..."

"We can't do anything, now can we? Now, let's go."

Yuk and Gun were talking in the living room when we found them.

Gun took me aside and asked me what was wrong with our son.

"Hormones." I laughed. "He wants to fight, that's all."

I blinked and glanced at Gun's hand as he caressed my cheek.

Yuk watched from the couch and Ren glared from the doorway.

I leaned into Gun's hand and closed my eyes.

"Mom? Are you awake?"

I opened my eyes and looked at Ren.

It was dark and my eyes were unfocused.

"Baby, what's-"

"Shh!" He whispered and I felt Gun's arms tighten around me.

"Come on!"

I pulled Gun off myself and he sat up.

"What's wrong?" Gun sat up.

"Nothing, I'll be right back."

I got up and followed Ren out the door.

Once we were a distance away, Ren began to run.

"Ren, wait up! What's happening!?"

We went into Yuk's room

"Get up! Hurry. Did you pack your bags like I told you?" Ren shook Yuk.

"Pack his bag? Why?" I asked.

"Come on!" Ren grabbed three bags and pulled us both out.

"Where's dad?" Yuk asked.

"What's going on?" I asked.

We were pulled out of the house and to the gate.

"Renjiro, what are you doing?! You know we can't!"

"YN!"

I stopped and my heart was beating out my chest.

"Daniel?" I slowly walked over and covered my mouth.

Daniel, Jay, Vosco, Eli, Warren, Jake and Zack all stood on the other side.

"Guys? What are you doing here?"

"We're here to save you guys! Now come on!" Zack said.

"Save us? From what?" Yuk asked.

"No time, let's go!" Ren grabbed us and pushed open the gate.

"Where's dad?!"

"Shut up!" Ren hissed.

My legs felt like jello as we climbed into the car and we drove off. 

"DAD! DAD!" Yuk tried to jump out of the car.

"SHUT UP!" Ren hit Yuk and they began to fight.

"Stop it! Both of you!"

"Mom, what's happening!? Where's dad!?" Yuk panicked.

"Dad's a piece of shit that kidnapping mom before we were born, dip shit!"

"NO HE DIDN'T! MOM AND DAD LOVE EACH OTHER!"
