"She was right... we're never seeing her again." Yuk whispered. He was all cried out.

So was I.

But as his older brother, I need to keep it together.

I looked at my grandmother and grandfather as they cried in front of the picture of my mom.

She looks so young.

She was my age at the time of the picture.

I looked back and saw a picture of my father.

No was mourning him.

It felt like an insult to have them in the same funeral home.

The cops found my mom with a snapped neck and my father on top of her, also dead.

They said he died of a broken heart but what do I care.

Both their bodies went missing from the morgue but I have an idea of who took them.

It's probably him.

The blond.

The one I have faint memories of.

He was the only one who went to see my father's picture.

They must have been friends.

But what do I care?

"I see you believed me."

The blond man was waiting by the bathroom as I came out.

"Who are you?"

"Goo Joon Kim. I was a friend of your father's. I never thought he'd take it this far."

"You sent me those messages."

"I did. You've grown a lot since I last saw you."

"You knew my father kidnapped my mother and didn't help her."

"There wasn't much I could do." Goo shook his head.

"My mom was a good person."

"Yeah, she was. I'm sorry for your loss." He turned and walked away.

I have nothing but my brother in this world. And it's my job to make sure he's safe.
