3 - As a team

KIRISHIMA:
"You're not getting past me, Tokoyami!"

Across from him, Tokoyami remains calm, the shadows around him shifting. His eyes narrow as Dark Shadow materializes at his side, growing larger in the low light. It roars, menacing and restless.

TOKOYAMI:
"We'll see. Dark Shadow... attack."

Dark Shadow lunges forward with lightning speed, its claws extended toward Kirishima. The force of the attack shakes the room, but Kirishima is ready. He slams his fists together, his body immediately encased in rock-hard armor as his Quirk: Hardening activates.

Dark Shadow's claws swipe down at Kirishima, crashing into his hardened form with a deafening CLANG. Kirishima skids back slightly but remains upright, unflinching.

KIRISHIMA (grinning):
"That's not enough to crack me, bird-man!"

Tokoyami doesn't flinch, maintaining his composure.

TOKOYAMI:
"This is only the beginning."

Dark Shadow pulls back for another strike, this time circling Kirishima like a predator stalking its prey. Kirishima moves in closer, stepping forward confidently. He swings a hard punch toward the mass of shadow, aiming to dissipate it, but Dark Shadow dodges with fluidity, moving far faster than Kirishima can react.

TOKOYAMI:
"Dark Shadow, keep him off balance."

Dark Shadow flanks Kirishima from the left, launching a barrage of quick strikes. Kirishima blocks them one by one with hardened arms, his body absorbing the impact, but each hit pushes him back a step. The sound of claws scratching against stone-like skin fills the room.

Kirishima grits his teeth, pushing forward, his eyes burning with determination.

KIRISHIMA:
"If I can't hit the shadow, I'll go for the source!"

With a surge of energy, Kirishima dashes toward Tokoyami, who stands back, seemingly vulnerable. Kirishima throws a powerful punch, aiming straight at Tokoyami's chest.

But just as Kirishima's fist is about to connect, Dark Shadow snaps back with blinding speed, slamming into Kirishima's side and knocking him off course. Kirishima crashes into the nearby wall, rubble falling around him as he shakes it off.

TOKOYAMI (calmly):
"Did you really think I wouldn't see that coming?"

Kirishima stands up, wiping dust from his arms, still grinning despite the blow.

KIRISHIMA:
"Heh. You're good. But I'm not done yet!"

He rushes forward again, this time with a more focused strategy. Instead of going straight for Tokoyami, he feints left, drawing Dark Shadow in. As Dark Shadow moves to intercept, Kirishima pivots sharply and launches a brutal punch at Tokoyami's exposed right side.

KIRISHIMA (roaring):
"I've got you now!"

But Tokoyami remains calm, almost serene in the face of the attack.

TOKOYAMI:
"Not quite."

Dark Shadow extends itself unnaturally, a long tendril of shadow wrapping around Kirishima's fist just inches from Tokoyami. It pulls Kirishima's punch aside with immense force, causing him to stumble. Dark Shadow then slams into Kirishima's back, sending him sprawling across the floor.

Kirishima rolls with the hit, scrambling to his feet with a frustrated growl. He's tough, but the relentless pressure from Dark Shadow is starting to wear on him.

KIRISHIMA (breathing heavily):
"Damn... this shadow's no joke."

TOKOYAMI:
"You're strong, Kirishima, but strength alone isn't enough against the dark."
