A/N: OK, so i've decided to leave an author's note with this one because you might think this will end tragically again, but FEAR NOT--this will definitely have a happy ending. i dont want to spoil anything further, so that's all im going to say.
i repeat, this is a death-free fanfiction, LOL! 😂😭😂😭 i promise, you know i always keep my promises (?) you just have to trust me on this, okay?
also, this will be a two-shot, since i decided midway through writing this that i want to give Charlotte her own POV. there's been a change in the plot, that's why. ;)
okay, so that you're aware, I'll drop some tags below:

#onlyhappyendingsif you're unfamiliar with Hanahaki disease, it's basically a fictional disease where someone will cough up flower petals when they're harboring unrequited feelings, which will lead to death when the person doesn't confess or their feelings remain unreciprocated. the flowers will bloom inside their lungs, and they'll suffocate to death.
alright, here we gooooo....

Engfa's POV:
Love isn't always reciprocated, that's the harsh truth of life.
All of us have experienced harboring feelings for someone who doesn't return them with equal fervor. We often have no choice but to accept that defeat and move on.
Unfortunately, moving on wasn't really an option for me after I discovered what was happening inside me when I realized I had feelings for someone I couldn't have.
Charlotte and I went to a temple in Chumphon to pay our respects and light incense inside. We prayed and left right after.
Charlotte and I are onscreen partners. It all started as a silly ship our fans created. It was just like that at first--until I realized I was developing real feelings for her.
It was over a week ago that I finally recognized this change of heart. It went like this:
I was live on my Instagram account, and Charlotte was beside me. We were on a break from our photoshoot for a brand promotion, and I thought I could interact with my supporters to pass the time.
Suddenly, Charlotte leaned toward me, appearing on my camera. The fans began commenting non-stop at the sight of her.
"My fans want you to greet them," I told Charlotte.
She leaned back, smiled, and waved, saying, "Hello, everyone. How are you doing?"
What followed turned into an impromptu EngLot Instagram live. Charlotte and I started reading fan comments, occasionally replying to them.
"Oh, P'Fa, someone asked if I am your girlfriend," Charlotte read aloud, then looked at me with a smirk.
I smiled back, "Are you?"
She turned to the camera and said, "I think I'll leave that for P'Fa to decide."
I leaned back in my chair and let Charlotte read the funny comments from our fans.
"Did you have any girl crushes before, Char?" she read another comment. At the question, I quickly glanced at her, eager for her answer, suddenly forgetting we were still live.
"Oh, no. I didn't. The only girl I like is P'Fa," Charlotte said to the fans as if they were right in front of her. I secretly smiled at her response. "I don't like any other girls. I only like P'Fa. If it isn't P'Fa, then I don't like them."
