Charlotte's POV:

It's been two days since I last saw P'Fa, after we visited the temple and had our days off. To my surprise, she didn't come for our TikTok Live the next day.

P'Sun told Nawat that she's sick, so I immediately sent her a text through Line to check on her, but sadly, she didn't reply.

I shrugged it off, thinking she was probably just resting. P'Fa is a very hardworking person, and I often tell her not to push herself too much, but she seems to be a workaholic.

I can't blame her, though. Her fans love her so much, and I can tell she loves them equally. She once told me that she's working not just for money anymore, but for her fans and the happiness she brings them.

I smiled as I thought about how loving and caring P'Fa is toward everyone around her, including me. She's a wonderful friend, one you'd desperately wish to have by your side.

I'm so lucky to have the chance to be her friend.

----

Disenchanted, the next day, P'Fa was still absent. I understand why, of course. She might still be sick. I kept sending her messages, but not a single reply came back. Now I'm starting to get worried.

It lasted for a week, and P'Fa hadn't shown up for any of our scheduled photoshoots or guest appearances. Boss Nawat decided to pay P'Fa a visit, despite my suggestion that he send me instead. He refused, saying I still had work to do.

I sighed and waited for him to return so I could ask how P'Fa was. I kept reaching out to her, but sadly, she wouldn’t reply. Even P'Daad and P'Sun had gone silent when I tried to ask them what was going on, which made me worried sick and a bit sad. I contemplated going to her place unannounced, but I didn’t want to overstep the boundaries between P'Fa and me, so I just waited.

After my live selling session with a brand associated with MGI, I went straight to Nuay and asked for my personal phone. I immediately called Boss Nawat to inquire about P'Fa's condition, and sadly, he confirmed that she was really sick and in no condition to work at the moment.

After that call, I got into my car with Nuay, focused on one goal. I knew this might upset P'Fa when she found out, but I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to see her.

"Nuay, can I ask you a favor? Can you take Phalo to your place tonight? I have somewhere to go, and I don't think I'll be able to come home right away."

"Where are you going?" she asked curiously.

"P'Fa's sick, and I'm going to her place to check on her." At my answer, Nuay nodded in the passenger seat, but I swear I saw her lips quirk up a bit out of the corner of my eye.

After I dropped Nuay off at her place after picking up Phalo from my house, I drove straight to the 24-hour convenience store and bought some grapes, lemons, and vitamin C drinks.

I then drove to P'Fa's place, filled with determination. I knocked on the door, and soon I heard slow footsteps coming from inside. Moments later, the door slowly opened, revealing a sleepy-looking P'Daad.

"P'Daad, I'm glad you're here. I thought P'Fa was spending the night alone. How is she? Is she okay?" I asked, and I saw P'Daad's sleepy expression morph into one of alertness and shock.

"Char! What are you doing here?" she asked, clearly not expecting me at all.

"I came to visit P'Fa. Boss told me she's sick. Is she getting better?"

"Uh..." P'Daad hesitated, her eyes appearing torn between two thoughts. I didn't know what those thoughts were.

Before she could answer, another familiar face peeked around the door. It was P'Sun.
