"Where are we going today?" Rose asked from the Doctor. "It will be a surprise, I'm sure you'll love it," the Doctor replied to her while hitting one red button of the TARDIS with his hammer. The TARDIS landed and the Doctor ran to the door. He opened the door and shut it right away. "What is it? Are we in danger again?" Rose asked while running to the Doctor. " No,no,no. Can't you smell it?" He asked. Rose sniffed the air, "Eww what is that?" She asked from the Doctor. "Human leftovers." He said. " You mean..." "Yes, exactly."the Doctor said before Rose had even finished her question." "Where are we?" Rose asked. The Doctor opened the door, the smell got even worse so they both covered their nose with a hand. "1609, London." The Doctor said. " This is London? It looks like a slum." Rose replied. "Most of London is a slum." "Who's the current king? Oh wait, it's Elizabeth I time isn't it?" Rose asked. "No, Elizabeth I died in 1603 and after that James VI of Scotland claimed the throne." The Doctor announced. "James VI? Never heard." Rose replied with a confused look."Ah, yes . You might know him as James I. Funny little man he is." "Are there any monarchs that you don't personally know?" Rose asked with a grin. "Well, there are some but I've read about all of them. Starting from Egebert and finishing with Liz XXI, all in here." The Doctor said while pointing on his head. "What are we doing here?" Rose asked. " We'll see." He replied. Suddenly they heard a weird noise from inside the TARDIS. "No, no, no," the Doctor shouted while rushing back inside. "No!" He shouted while bushing buttons and pulling all sort of strings. Suddenly they saw a flame, there was a lot of smoke. "We're stuck here aren't we?" Rose asked. "Well... For some time, yeah." "Great," Rose replied to him with a sarcastic voice. The Doctor started repairing the TARDIS and Rose just sat there." I need something with pepper in it." The Doctor suddenly announced. "And..?" Rose asked. " Could you go and find me something from the market?" Doctor said with puppy eyes. " Weren't the TARDIS supposed to have everything in it?" Rose asked. "It's broken at the moment!"The Doctor said. " I can't even breath there!" "You'll get use to it , everyone does." " OK, but just this one time!" Rose said as she started walking outside. " Oh, and Rose! Don't wander off. Just go and find pepper and come straight back." The Doctor said seriously. "Yes, boss" Rose said mockingly.
