"Well that puts a damper on my plans." Davina mumbled. " we were supposed to be the ones getting justice, but I suppose he's dead. He's dead.... I don't know. I'm having really mixed emotions about all of this." she tipped her wine glass back, finishing the drink. " what's going through your head?" he was about to answer when there was a knock at the door.

"Prince oberyn, its lord Tywin."

"So formal." Davina murmured

" come in," oberyn agreed pulling davina back into him but she moved to aegon playing on the floor

'Prince Oberyn.' Tywin remarked stiffly. He needed Oberyn to stay in the capital. He needed to act like he wasn't showing favoritism and he was known to hate the martells.

'Lord Tywin.' Oberyn answered.

'May we have the room?' Tywin asked stiffly.

" no you may not. Anything you say to my husband you can say to me because he will tell me about it as soon as you leave anyway so you might as well just save us some time." Davina countered.

"Fine." Tywin agreed.

'Would you like to sit?' Oberyn asked

'No thank you.' Tywin stiffly.

'Some wine?' Oberyn asked

'No thank you.'

'I'm sorry about your grandson.' Oberyn remarked

'"Are you?" Tywin countered.

Nope.

" you didn't seem so sad when he died you seemed more bored by the whole situation." Davina cut in. Tywin turned to her. " but maybe you always have that bored expression on your face."

'I don't believe that the child is responsible for the sins of his father or his grandfather.' Oberyn said pouring himself a glass 'what an awful way to die.' He shrugged.

'Which way is that?'

'Are you interrogating me Lord Tywin?' Oberyn questioned.

'Some believe the king choked.'

" choked on what?" Davina countered. " a bone of a dove?" Tywin shrugged.

'Some people believe the sky is blue because we live inside the eye have a big white giant.' Oberyn countered 'I know this for sure the king was poisoned'

It was an easy and effective method of murder. Davina had planned to use it on one of her own targets.

'I hear you studied poisons at the citadel.' Tywin recalled.

'I did.' Oberyn confirmed 'this is why I know.'

'Your hatred for my family as well known you arrive at the capital with your experts and poisoning and now my grandson dies a poison..'

'That is suspicious.' Oberyn agreed smugly. " don't you think my love?"

" very suspicious. One might think we were here to cause trouble.... It's like they don't know us at all." Davina agreed.

'Lord Tyrion came to see you very day that you arrived.' Tywin went on, trying to keep the edge from his voice. 'what did you discuss?'

'Do you think we can spired together?'

'What did you discuss?' he pushed.

Oberyn had not seen tyrion in truth. He saw davina but tywin didnt need to know that. Oberyn smirked. Let his mind start working. Let him start, remembering the pain of the past.

'The death of my sister." Oberyn told him.

'You blame me?' Tywin realized.

'She was raped and murdered by the mountain.' Oberyn reminded him 'the mountain follows your orders of course I blame you.'

'Well here I stand unarmed unguarded...' Tywin remarked.

If only it were so easy. Davina would have but she knew tywin would go last.

'You are unarmed in unguarded because you know me better than that.' Oberyn told him. 'I am a man of reason if I cut your throat today I would be thrown in court tomorrow.'

'Men make all sorts of crimes without their superiors knowledge.' Tywin clarified as if he had done it before. Davina stared back at him. Men like him could do things without anyone else, knowing because he was the superior and people listen to him. His mad dog would do as he commanded. Without hesitation.

'I would like to speak to the mountain' oberyn told him

'I'm sure he would like to speak to you.' Tywin informed him. Oberyns smile grew

'Maybe not as much as you think he would.' Oberyn countered.

'I could arrange for this meeting...'

'But you want something in return.' Oberyn remarked.

Because lannisters always pay their debts but always ask for favors as well.

'There will be a trial for my son as custom dictates there will be three judges who render a verdict I will decide. mace Tyrell will be the second and I invite you to be the third.' Oberyn told him.

'Why?' Davina cut in. Oberyn nodded moving to aegon wanting to go up, up, up.

'Not long ago the Tyrells sided with Renly Baratheon they declare themselves enemies of the throne now they are our strongest allies.'

'Trading the Tyrells for a queen... You're asking me to judge your son's trials is quite extensive.' Oberyn told him.

"Desperate." Davina clarified.

'I would also invite you to sit on the small council... to serve as one of the new kings principal devices'

"Fancy." Davina agreed. "That sounds like a lot of work."

'I never realized you had such respect for Dorne.' Oberyn remarked.

'We are not the seven kingdoms until dorne returns to the fold the king is dead the Greyjoys are an open rebellion an army marches upon the wall and in the east a Targaryen girl has three dragons... Not for long she will turn her eyes to Westeros and only the Dornish were able to turn against Aegon and his dragons.' Tywin reminded him. Davina resisted the urge to laugh. Daenerys was here. The dragons as well in this very castle getting bigger every day. Right under the great tywin Lannisters nose.

'You are saying you need us?' Oberyn agreed smiling back at davina before looking tywin in the eye. 'that must be hard for you to admit.'

'We need each other.' Tywin corrected 'you help me serve justice to the kings assassin and I will help you serve justice to yours...'"

"Justice."
