He didn't stop posting since that day. His posts were mostly about him, about fishing, and about the gym.But recently, he took everything to another level, posting and going out with his new woman, the cashier. He made it official to everyone, without shame, while Willow was probably lying dead somewhere, heartbroken.
"I don't want to be involved in any of this. I'm telling you."
A blonde girl is speaking to a muscular man; she seems more concerned than angry.
"I've already had enough of this bitch over the past few years, and now I don't need the weight of her dismembered body on my shoulders for the rest of my life, okay?"
"Brooke, they're not going to find anything! Not even my wife will, and if she didn't notice that I've been having an extramarital relationship with you, trust me, she will discover absolutely nothing."
"Yeah, and then she's the reason the two of us get arrested and stay in prison for life. Mason, the fact that she spread all those things about me doesn't mean I'm involved. You killed her! I just told you to, but my hands are not stained with blood."
"Okay, baby, don't worry! I've done this one time, and I could do it again if my wife talks."
"You're the hand, and I'm the brain; don't forget it."
"I could never forget it."
Brooke and Mason are standing inside an abandoned warehouse, a big fire in front of them that is burning a black bag holding the remains of a poor girl, Tessa.
Tessa made the big mistake of spreading a lot of gossip and bad things about Brooke, bullying her and always putting her feet on her head. All of this continued until she met Mason.
Mason was a tall and muscular boy, really caring and protective, but he was married.
Brooke was really concerned about Mason's extramarital relationship with her, but over time, she didn't even recognize Mason as a married man anymore; he was just her boyfriend.
Soon college ended, and Brooke finally got away from her bully, but that story wasn't going to end there. Brooke was seeking revenge, and Mason would have done anything for his mistress, so the two decided that the right thing to do was to kill her.
Of course, Brooke didn't want her reputation ruined, so she left Marcus the job of killing the girl. The last hours of Tessa were a living hell.
Tessa disappeared on a Monday, just after going to work. She was walking home alone when a man in his car got out and hit her, leaving her unconscious on the floor. The man then took her body and placed it in the trunk of his car, then drove away.
When he got to his destination, an abandoned warehouse, the victim had already lost a lot of blood that was leaking from the trunk. She was then tied to a chair, and when she opened her eyes again, Brooke was in front of her.
"Hi, Tessa."
"Brooke, what, what is happening?"
"What is happening is that I'm getting my revenge."
"Revenge...? For what, two jokes? Brooke, I'm really sorry if that offended you... let me go... my head is hurting..."
"Oh no, dear, it's too late to apologize. You made my life miserable, and I'm not going to let you walk freely above your mistakes."
"What... what do you want to do? Leave me alone!"
"Ooh, that's not how it works, Tessa... you have to face the consequences!"
Mason appears from the dark, a weapon in his hands.
"What? No! No, please, I'm sorry! Brooke, don't do this, Broo-!"
Thud... Thud... Thud
Tessa was gone in a few minutes and left this world at only 23 years old. She will never live a full life, never have a family, never be happy.
The two now had to dispose of the body where it couldn't be found, so they decided to burn it. But before, they had to make it unrecognizable, so Mason had the atrocious idea of using his circular saw.
One day passes, and the fire in front of them is slowly burning the bag, erasing the evidence, but not all of it. In the anxiety of eliminating everything, the two forgot about the big red stain that was imprinted in Mason's truck. It stayed there all the way to her house and all the way back to his house. But the only person that noticed it was Willow.
Willow told him about it that Saturday night and also told him about Brooke. He couldn't do anything now; she knew everything. But she couldn't know everything. He made a promise to Brooke, and he was absolutely not going to bring her to prison, so he decided to do the worst.
"Don't try to lie to me, Mason! That red stain looks nothing like paint! I know that is blood!"
"Blood? Are you mentally ill? Why would I have blood on the fricking trunk of my car?!"
"That dirty cashier has to do with it too, right? What have you two been doing with that circular saw?!"
"You're speaking nonsense!! I'm no serial killer; you're the crazy one!"
"Oh yeah, I'm crazy, huh? Then the crazy woman is going to call the police so you can have a talk with them about this!"
Willow raises her arm, her phone in her hands.
"Don't even try to! I'm your husband!"
"And a murderer, as well as a vile traitor!"
As Willow turns around, Mason's anger takes control of his whole body. He takes the little statue that was originally on their wedding cake 15 years before and smashes it on Willow's head. Her death is instant.
Blood is all over the carpet, and her lifeless body is belly down on the floor.
But next to her head, the screen of her phone is lighting up, with a call ongoing. The voice is calling her name.
"Wilo, tell me everything."
It was Scarlett.
Mason's eyes are now wide open, and before hanging up, he says:
"Shit."
Scarlett will call that phone for the next 20 minutes while Mason is dealing with his wife's dead body. Once put into a big suitcase, Mason finally gets the phone and texts Scarlett to avoid suspicion:
"My dear Scarlett, we couldn't make it tonight; take the tea by yourself. We're both sorry about this."
"Wilo, what happened? Why didn't you call me back? Is everything alright?"
"Sorry, Scarlett, Mason and I have had a little fight. I don't want to talk right now."
"But you were supposed to; you told me last night! Call me back, xoxo."
Of course, he didn't. Mason took the phone and broke it, placed the suitcase and Willow's purse into the trunk of his car, and drove somewhere. He hid and eliminated everything, making it impossible to find.
In the next few days, Scarlett went to his home, asking him all sorts of questions. Then we know how the story goes on.
