Sahed x reader (from Marionetta Webtoon) (gender neutral reader)

Part 9

Everyone went to different areas backstage as the show was about to start and you could feel everyone's energy and excitement 

"I brought waterrrr Kamille" passed you a cup with a straw 

"Ooh fancy! Thank you" you swirled it around before taking a sip. Sahed then grabbed the cup from you and also took a sip. 

"Sahed my mouth was on that" you complained, continuing to take another drink anyways 

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize that was a concern of yours" he commented sarcastically with a smile, causing you to choke on the water you were drinking 

"Not. a. word-" you hissed between coughs; you could not believe he actually just said that 

"Wait did you guys..." Kamille trailed off, looking at you expectantly. You looked at Sahed with a look that said 'absolutely do not tell her' and he simply smirked, then raised his eyebrows at her quickly, which she accepted as an answer 

"Oh-ho my gosh! Rainah you owe me 20 buckssss" she laughed 

"Wait seriously??" You laughed now too 

"Hmm, guess you were right" Rainah sighed 

"You guys had a bet??" You asked 

"Yeah, she thought you'd end up fighting even more and I thought you'd get together" Kamille explained 

"Wait what happened? Did they kill each other or make out?" Julia asked as she walked up 

"They didn't kill each other" Tonny said as he went out to start the show, causing both of you to be a little more embarrassed. 

"Ooooooooo-" Julia started 

"Aaaaand without further ado, welcome to the circusssss!! You heard Tonny's voice echo through the microphone as he announced the beginning of the show, that was the cue for everyone to come out. Luckily for you, that meant the conversation from before had to end and the whole circus would come out for the start. 

After the beginning some people, including you, had to wait backstage until it was their turn. You and Sahed sat by a door so you could sort of see when it was your turn to go on but the audience couldn't see you. You leaned your head on his shoulder and he leaned his head on your head and you enjoyed the show together until it was your turn. 

"That's our cue" he said as the act before yours took their bow and you both got up and ran out to the circus ring. The bright lights and dust from the dirt floor made it hard to see as you first came out, as your eyes adjusted you were able to see that the audience was full and you could hear everyone cheering. You guys smiled for the audience 

"Here goes the amazing Y/n and Sahed, on their new aerial act!!!" Tonny announced as you got up to the lyra. The routine was going very well, better than it had ever gone before and you guys kept locking eyes and smiling at each other through the whole thing, eventually you reached the end and the audience was going wild. You waited for the lights to cut for a moment, then got into position for the flip down. You were a little bit nervous for the big flip at the end because of how you hurt your foot before. Sahed must have noticed because before he went down he just said 

"Just look at me, not them" and smiled. So that is exactly what you did, you looked at him, not focusing on how many people were watching, then flipped down. You landed perfectly and people cheered more, the little cloud of dust from the floor cleared and he took your hand, then you bowed together. 

"Amazing" he mouthed at you and you smiled back at him, happy that everything had worked out. The rest of the show was great as well. At the end everyone got to come back out and take a final bow, the audience cheered wildly, eventually the lights faded, as did the applause, then people made their way out once the house lights came on. 

That night everyone went to bed late because the show ran pretty late so everyone was tired. Of course they still had the bonfire party so everyone was up almost the entire night. Luckily during showtime everyone just slept in to make up for it. 

After the show was over and the audience had left everyone quickly changed out of their costumes in the changing rooms. When you guys got back to your room you both flopped down on your bed, kicked off your shoes, and kissed one more time. 

"Goodnight Sahed" you said happily 

"Goodnight love~" he said, which made you smile like an idiot as you fell asleep in his arms.
