Chapter 12

It was Professors Ports class and no one was paying attention. Weiss patiently waiting out the minute left on her holographic clock displayed from her desk. I was just fidgeting with the pen while Jaune slides up to her

Jaune: So, Weiss, y'know, uh, I-I was thinking after this, maybe we could go grab a bite to eat? (Turns to the teacher for a second, then turns back around.) And, uh um, I-I've got two tickets to that new Spruce Willis movie, if you wanna make the trip to Vale. I hear it's awesome. (Pauses as his words have no effect.) Aaaand maybe after that, we could study together? I mean, you're smart and I'm, uh... Y'know.

I still don't know where Jaune gets this confidence to keep on asking her out. If I was him I'd ask her out once and I'll get the idea then back off. Not that I'd ever like her or ask her out in the first place. Finally, the clock in front of Weiss gives a shrill beep as it changes from 3:59 to 4:00, and she dismisses it with a wave of her hand.

Port: And there I was- Timed that one wrong, I guess. Well, the stunning conclusion to this story will have to wait. Until next time!

Jaune: (Watching Weiss as she packs up her Scroll.) Weiss? Did you hear me?

Weiss: (Not even looking at Jaune as she walks away.) No, no, no, yes.

Upon hearing this, Jaune groans and does a faceplant into his desk. As the rest of Team RWBY walks out of class behind him, Yang ruffles Jaune's hair without even looking.

Yang/ Klaus: One day.

We both sighed at the unfortunate boy. Ozpin had informed me to meet him after classes so I said bye to my teammates and went his office.

Weiss POV

After the class which took forever, we finally made it to our dorms. We all changed into our battle gear.

Blake: (Approaching her bunk as she tightens her wraps.) I thought that class would never end.

Ruby: (From her position sitting on the hanging bed) Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!

She happily leaps off her mattress and onto the floor, arms raised excitedly. She almost lands on me, who is on the bottom bunk.

Weiss: (sarcastically) I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously.

Yang: Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious.

Ruby: Right!

Weiss: You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem.

Blake: The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning.

Yang: I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard...

Weiss: But what about Klaus? Does He even know that We are doing this? He has been less talkative lately

Yang: Oh my since when you have been so worried about him?

Weiss: Wellhesobviouslmy teammatesoitsonlynatural-

The three girls just stared at me, I could see Yangs lip change into an upward smirk and before she could open her mouth I cut her off

Weiss: Well, we have to do this without him this time I guess. So who's ready!

???: Us!!

Klaus POV

After a quick meeting with Ozpin and Qrow I decided to head back to my dorms while thinking about the sudden rise in grim outside of the city.

Although I don't understand why Ozpin had to say that in person where he could have just sent a text message. I went to take a quick shower and put on some gears that the Atlus military was working on.

Although I couldn't call it a gear, it was a half length trench coat. Its sleek design could blend perfectly into the snowy landscape. The fabric was tough and weather-resistant, with reinforced patches on the shoulders and elbows that hinted at hard use. It was super heavy.

It was given to me by Ozpin who wanted me to work in the mountains alongside Atlus military to eradicate a certain Grimn, from their recon teams report

I slowly walked towards my room and grabbed the doorknob. I could hear a lot of commotion. Sighing to myself I opened the door to see Sun and Neptune?

Ruby: Get It's Klaus- Whoa is that a new Outfit?! It looks soo cool.

Yang: Ruby, focus

Ruby: Well anyways since you're here, come along with us!

Ruby grabbed me by the hand and pulled me alongside Weiss outside the room.
