"Perce?" Apollo asked, walking around Olympus, trying to find his boyfriend, when he came across said boyfriend sat at a water fountain, eyes distant.
"Seashell. Back to earth, yeah?"
"Hm? Oh, hey, Sunshine."
The blonde tutted, nudging Percy over so that he could sit beside him. "Something on your mind?"
The son of Poseidon leaned his head on Apollo's shoulder, closing his eyes for a few moments before responding. "Nothing much. Just thinking about... All of this."
"All of what?"
"You. Me. Life."
"In a good way, I hope?" He pressed, a wave of concern washing over him.
"I'll always think about us in a good way, 'pollo."
"And what about life?"
"It's not possible to always think about that like it's good. Right now, though, I'd say it's pretty nice. I'm dating a caring boyfriend, get to be with him forever, and I feel supported. Not much to complain about, honestly."
"Awh, thank you."
"You're welcome, Sunshine."
Apollo shifted Percy into his lap and rocked them gently, his fingers teasing the hem of Percy's shirt. "You're beautiful. You know that?"
The black haired boy exhaled slowly. "Thank you."
He frowned. "No one's told you that before?"
"Well, yeah, they have, but.. I don't know. That just felt special."
"Seashell, you are special."
"So you can be poetic after all."
"Hush, this is a nice moment, that I'm going to make nicer in about 5 seconds."
They waited in an, admittedly awkward silence, for the count to 5, before Apollo pressed their lips together, pulling the son of Poseidon closer to him by the back of his neck.
Percy melted into the kiss, parting his lips to allow the older god access.
Taking initiative, the blonde deepened the kiss, humming softly and smiling when his boyfriend let out a soft noise of pleasure.
Pulling away, they hugged one another close, feeling content with life.
"I love you, Seashell."
"I love you too, Sunshine."
