Maya’s POV
The morning of my Luna coronation was unlike anything I had ever experienced. The Silvermoon Pack was bustling with excitement and anticipation. Wolves from neighboring packs had arrived to witness the event, their presence a testament to the significance of the occasion. I watched from the window of the pack house as the final touches were being added to the large ceremonial grounds below.
Jaxon, ever the efficient Beta, had overseen all the preparations with military precision. Banners in shades of silver and deep blue adorned the grounds, reflecting the colors of the Silvermoon Pack, and the scent of fresh flowers mingled with the earthy scent of the forest.
But even amidst the grandeur, a nervous energy buzzed within me. Today was the day I would officially become Leo’s Luna. Today, I would be marked by him.
I turned away from the window, feeling Lyra stir in the back of my mind. Are you ready for this? I asked her, knowing that the marking would not only bind me to Leo but would also strengthen our connection with Fenrir.
I’ve been ready, Lyra replied with confidence. This is our destiny, Maya. We’ve fought for this. We’ve earned it.
A knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. I turned to see Leo standing there, his eyes glowing with the same silver intensity that had drawn me to him from the beginning.
“Can I come in?” he asked softly, his voice low and filled with an emotion I couldn’t quite place.
I nodded, smiling at him. “Of course.”
He stepped inside, closing the door behind him before crossing the room in a few long strides. As he approached, I could feel the heat of his presence, the bond between us humming with life.
“I wanted to see you before everything started,” he said, taking my hands in his. His touch was warm, grounding me in the moment.
“I’m glad you did,” I whispered, looking up into his eyes. There was a vulnerability in him today, something I hadn’t seen before.
Leo smiled, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. “You look beautiful, Maya. I always knew you were destined for this role, but seeing you now… it feels real. Today, you officially become my Luna. And after that—”
His words trailed off, but I knew what he was going to say. The marking.
“I want this,” I said, my voice strong as I met his gaze. “I’m ready, Leo. For everything. To be your Luna, to be marked, to lead by your side.”
His eyes softened, and he pulled me into his arms, holding me close. I could feel the steady beat of his heart beneath my cheek, and it calmed the nervous energy inside me.
“We’ll make this official in front of the pack today, but the marking… I want that to be just for us. After the ceremony, it’ll be our moment,” he whispered against my hair, his voice filled with quiet intensity.
I nodded, feeling a surge of warmth and love for him. This bond we shared, the one that had grown through every challenge we’d faced together, was about to reach its ultimate expression.
Fenrir agrees, Leo added, his eyes flashing silver as Fenrir’s presence brushed against my mind. He’s been waiting for this just as much as I have.
Lyra let out a soft growl of agreement, her voice strong in my mind. Then let’s do this.

Leo’s POV
The ceremony was everything I could have hoped for. The pack gathered beneath the wide canopy of the forest, the soft rustle of the leaves mingling with the low murmurs of the wolves around us. The atmosphere was electric with excitement, and I could feel the anticipation in the air as I stood at the center of the ceremonial grounds, waiting for Maya.
My heart raced in my chest as I caught sight of her stepping into the clearing. She was breathtaking—her dark hair cascading around her shoulders, her eyes glowing with determination and love. She walked toward me with a grace and confidence that made my chest swell with pride.
Our Luna, Fenrir rumbled in approval. She’s perfect.
I couldn’t argue with that.
As Maya reached me, I extended my hand to her, and she took it without hesitation. Her touch grounded me, calming the storm of emotions swirling inside.
“Are you ready?” I asked softly, my voice low enough for only her to hear.
She smiled up at me, her eyes full of love and strength. “I’m ready.”
The pack gathered around us as Jaxon stepped forward to begin the formal coronation. The words of the ceremony washed over me, but all I could focus on was Maya—the woman who had fought through every challenge, who had shown me strength I didn’t know I needed, who was about to officially become my other half.
When Jaxon placed the ceremonial silver crown on Maya’s head, marking her as the Luna of the Silvermoon Pack, the crowd erupted into howls of approval. Pride surged through me as I looked at her, my Luna. My mate.
Now for the real bond, Fenrir urged, his impatience bleeding into my own emotions.
I leaned closer to Maya, my voice barely a whisper. “Let’s go.”
She nodded, her eyes bright with excitement and understanding.

Maya’s POV
After the coronation, Leo led me deep into the forest, away from the pack, to a quiet, secluded spot. The air was still, and the full moon hung heavy in the sky above us, casting its silver light over everything.
“This is it,” Leo said softly, his voice filled with emotion as he turned to face me. “I’ve wanted this for so long, Maya. To mark you. To make you mine completely.”
I could feel Lyra’s excitement bubbling beneath the surface. This was what we had been waiting for. The final step to solidifying our bond, to fully becoming Leo’s Luna in every way.
“I’m ready,” I said, my voice steady, though my heart raced with anticipation.
Leo’s eyes glowed silver as Fenrir surfaced within him. He stepped closer, his gaze locking on my neck. “This might hurt,” he warned, his voice rough, but there was a tenderness in his touch as he cupped my cheek.
I tilted my head, baring my neck to him. “I trust you.”
With a growl that sent shivers down my spine, Leo lowered his head to the crook of my neck. I felt the warmth of his breath on my skin, and then—his teeth sank into my flesh, marking me.
Pain bloomed for a brief moment, sharp and searing, but it quickly faded into something else—something powerful. The bond between us snapped into place, stronger than ever before, flooding my senses with Leo’s presence, his love, his power. I could feel Fenrir too, his energy mingling with Lyra’s as they celebrated the completion of our bond.
Leo pulled back, his eyes wild and fierce, his lips stained with my blood. “Mine,” he growled, his voice filled with a primal possessiveness that sent a thrill through me.
I reached up, touching the new mark on my neck, feeling the heat of it, the power of it. “Yours,” I whispered, my voice filled with the same intensity.
And as we stood there beneath the moon, our bond complete, I knew that we were truly unstoppable. Together, as Alpha and Luna, nothing could stand in our way.
