October 9th ,2602, Grand Plaza, Castle city, Zeta Luna, the New Republic of Hyrule's Captial
The heart of Castle City was alive with activity as Hylians strolled down the streets, heading to work or shopping. Children's laughter echoed as they played around the central plaza fountain. To an onlooker, the plaza might seem like any ordinary street, if not for the armed Royal Guards at the Hyrule Castle gate and the military recruitment posters everywhere. Officer Jack Howard reflected on this as he issued a parking ticket to an Osen A160 SUV. That's when a woman tapped his shoulder. "Can I help you, ma'am?" Jack asked. "Yes, officer, a strange structure has just materialized in the middle of Market Street," the woman said. Jack made his way to Market Street, only to find a sight he hadn't anticipated: a colossal Romanesque edifice occupying the center of the thoroughfare. "What the hell? Is this some kind of movie set?" Jack muttered to himself. In that instant, Jack found himself facing what he could only liken to a horde of monsters, reminiscent of the Bokoblins from ancient tales. "What the hell," Jack exclaimed, startled, as he reached for his gun. Behind the creatures, a group of humans clad in Roman armor and mounted on horses appeared. A pseudo-Roman soldier sounded a war horn, and chaos ensued as monsters and soldiers alike began to attack, cutting down people indiscriminately. The crowd dispersed in a panic. Jack dashed to his squad car, locking himself in just as a goblin lunged at him. The creature smashed its face against the reinforced driver's side window while Jack radioed for help. "Dispatch, this is Baker Thirty-Six, requesting immediate backup at the intersection of Market Street and Central Plaza," he reported. "Baker Thirty-Six, what's your situation?" Dispatch asked. "Dispatch, we have a multitude of monsters emerging from a structure that's materialized in the middle of Market Street. I recommend deploying SWAT," Jack advised, as a swarm of dragons took flight from the edifice. "Dispatch, you might want to call in the military—these monsters have fucking dragons."
Fort Voitto just outside Castle city 1140 hours
General James Murphy burst into the Supreme Commander's office. "Sir, you might want to see this," Murphy said. "What is it?" Evan asked. Murphy switched on a TV, displaying a live news feed from Castle City, capturing the chaos that was unfolding. "Holy shit," Evan muttered under his breath. "What units do we have in the area?" he asked Murphy. "Sir, the 423rd Mechanized Infantry Regiment of the 106th Infantry Division is near Gavin, and elements of the First Infantry Division are already on route," Murphy told Evan. "Good anything else" Evan asked "yes sir there are reports of some dragons flying over Castle city so the 358th Attack Squadron was sent to go deal with them" Murphy said. "Well then all we can do is wait and see how things pan out" Evan said as he sat back down.

General Lucius Remus of the Saderan Empire gazed at the towering metal structures that encircled him. "Isn't it amazing, my lord?" Lucius's second in command asked, approaching on horseback. "Indeed, Marcus, the architecture is unlike anything we have in Falmart," Lucius responded as they approached the castle gates, where their troops were readying to ascend the walls. "What's the situation?" Lucius asked a centurion. "My lord, it appears the enemy has numerous mages on the walls, utilizing some form of magic to thwart our advances," reported the centurion. Lucius unsheathed his Gladius, proclaiming, "Men, before us lies the last stronghold of resistance. If we seize it, untold riches will be ours. Let's conquer this castle for the glory of the Saderan Empire!" With a battle cry, the troops fanned out into a wedge formation and advanced toward the wall. Suddenly, a deafening explosion echoed from above as a Wyvern plummeted from the sky, landing dead beside the troops. Lucius approached the fallen creature, observing its rider dismount, miraculously unharmed. "What happened?" Lucius asked. "Sir, a metal flying contraption zoomed past me, and before I could react, it struck me with some sorcery, downing my wingman with a fiery blast," the rider explained. Just then, a pair of those peculiar machines soared overhead. Unlike traditional avians, these were powered by enormous rotating blades, with small stubby wings outfitted with metallic tubes and fins. Adorned in dark green and brown, the number 358 was emblazoned in white on their tails. "What are those things?" Lucius murmured to himself as the machines effortlessly slaughtered the Wyverns. "My lord, look!" Marcus exclaimed, pointing to a street on the Legion's right flank. Lucius turned to see a line of horseless carriages spewing out soldiers wielding some sort of staffs, while two set up a weapon on a bipod. One soldier yelled an incomprehensible command, and the rest of the mysterious soldiers commenced firing at the Legion with their staffs, decimating the legionnaires. Several Orcs attempted a charge at the enemy, but the metal carriage swiveled its turret and effortlessly cut them down. "What in the gods' names is that?" Lucius gasped in terror as a larger metal carriage crushed some goblins under its weight. The last thing Lucius witnessed was a shell detonating a few feet from him, the blast rendering him unconscious.
"Hell yeah, eat that, you Roman bastards!" Sergeant Nathan Clark of the 106th Infantry Division shouted as the M6A2 Lynal's 30mm autocannons and the M470 LMGs mowed the enemy down like wheat. "First platoon, on me! We've got these bastards on the run!" Lieutenant Davids called out as he rose and dashed alongside an M5A3 Reaper Main Battle Tank. "You heard him, third squad, let's move!" Nathan commanded his men as he positioned himself next to a tank. The remaining enemy soldiers retreated in disarray through the structure while the Hylians pursued them relentlessly.
Lucius awoke to a persistent poking on his face. Opening his eyes, he saw a figure in camouflaged armor, a helmet obscuring their face. Upon realizing Lucius was alive, the figure shouted something unintelligible. Soon after, a second armored figure, distinguishable by a different helmet and a Red Cross armband, arrived to tend to Lucius's injuries. "What are you?" Lucius asked as he was hoisted onto a stretcher and loaded into the back end of some kind of vehicle. "We are your worst nightmare," replied one of the figures as the vehicle started to move.
