The fast end of the rest of that day, was Megumi gaped in horror at the limp and bloody body of Akari Unagi as it hit the concrete in front of him. Sukuna mumbling something about her being too weak, and tested Megumi next.
Aki woke up in the familiar scene of her homes living room. Her body laid on the couch, bandages littering her body as she sat up with a wince.
"Take it easy, kiddo." Nanami said softly as he came to sit beside her with pills and a glass of water.
"How long was I out this time?" She asked as she pieced together the events that happened before she fell unconscious.
"Two weeks." Nanami said knowing her reaction already. Aki's jaw dropped, staring up at her father in shock.
"Two weeks?!" She screeched. "What happened?"
"Sukuna ripped out Itadori's heart, attempting to gain total control of his body. Yet, when Itadori regained control for himself, his mortal body died." Nanami said making Aki's heart drop. "He's fine now. Sukuna healed him, but you cannot tell the others he's alive yet, as much as you will want to. The higher ups are trying to kill Itadori, they're afraid of him. His life needs to remain a secret, Akari." Nanami recovered strictly.
"I...understand." She gulped, not liking the fact she'll have to lie to Megumi's face when she sees him next. Megumi... "Is Megumi okay?!" She asked quickly.
"Yes, he fought Sukuna some time after you fell unconscious as he's informed Gojo, he's fine." Nanami reassured her. Aki scrambled to her phone to see a bunch of missed calls and texts from a worried Rei, and one message from Megumi. All he said was 'hope you're okay.' Her stomach fluttered at his minimal concern. She didn't know why it impacted her so much, it was barely the bare minimum. She couldn't deal with a conversation with him yet, sending only a thumbs up in response indicating she was up and alive.
Nanami allowed her to shower and change before he brought her to the hotel they were keeping Yuji tucked away in. Nanami lead her to the basement, the room looked cozy for what it was. A couch and a tv, a mini fridge, and a Yuji placed in the middle of the couch holding one of Yaga's cursed dolls as he watched a movie.
"Itadori?" She called softly, but it spooked him so hard the cursed doll woke up and socked him across the jaw. Aki's hand flew over her mouth as the doll absolutely sent him. "My bad.." she said sheepishly.

"DAMN THAT HURT!" Yuji yelled clutching his swollen cheek as tears pricked his eyes.
"IM SORRY!" Aki said waving her hands in front of her.
"Akari will be staying with you, Yuji. Until she feels good enough to return back to school." Nanami told him.
"I guess that's okay." Yuji said with a shrug. "Company would be nice."
"Roomies!" Aki cheered, jumping up and down.
"No funny business with my daughter." Nanami said firmly, an underlying threat in his voice making Yuji gulp. Nanami placed a kiss to her head before leaving them be.
