"This is awkward." Mischief landed beside Blaze. "The Abandoned Academy has the girl!" Nighteye shouted. "Where are the others?" Mischief asked. "On their way. For now, we need to protect her." Blaze froze Nemoto solid. "So this is what Denki meant when he said they would handle this..." Mindjack thought.
Eraserhead used his quirk on Overhaul while Nighteye rushed to Lemillion, supporting him. Eraserhead and Mindjack charged towards Overhaul. "Time to get up, Kurono!" Overhaul shouted. The pro hero pushed his protege back as Kurono's arrow-hair sliced his arm.
Eraserhead's movements began to slow. Kurono's hair retracted back into his hood as he explained how his quirk worked. If a person is hit by it, their movement is slowed for a period of time. As the pro struggled to stop himself from blinking, Mindjack used his scarf to carry them both away from another wave of spikes.
Nighteye managed to avoid it, holding Lemillion. "I've worked too hard to have my plans destroyed by people like you. You understand, Nemoto. You want me to succeed. So to make up for your blunder, I'm sure you'll happily give me your life!" Overhaul grabbed Nemoto's face and used his quirk to fuse them together.
"You were stronger than me, Lemillion. I'll admit that and respect your perseverance. But in the end, I'll emerge as the victor. Now return Eri to me!" Overhaul now had a new form. He had gained two additional arms that were deformed with spiked claws and black parts of Nemoto's cape.
"Now this is a problem." Mischief said, holding Eri closer. Down below, Kurono had Eraserhead incapacitated. Mindjack searched for the pro hero up above. "Cleanliness is an obsession of mine. So I lose control when someone contaminates me with their filth. Usually the people that cause it die in an instant at my hand, except right now. What an unfortunate turn for you, Lemillion. You chose to get involved with Eri, with me. And now your quirk is lost forever." Mindjack and Sir Nighteye's eyes widened at the news.
Mischief and Blaze look unfazed, as the former comforts the child in his arms. The latter gestures to his pocket which held the bullets Overhaul looked for. "You should've backed down while you had the chance. I might have let you go to pursue your silly dreams. Yet you fought despite your quirk being destroyed. Now, thanks to your 'heroic actions', your friends will die along with you." Overhaul stated before glaring at the 2 villains.
"I'll admit, you fooled me once...But even with your quirks I'll get rid of the both of you. Then I'll kill your entire Academy of followers. Maybe even that little brother of yours, Blaze. If he even is your relative." Overhaul reshaped the floor, launching spikes at both groups. Mindjack resorts to dodging while Blaze creates an ice wall.
"Your quirk doesn't even give you any offense or defense, all I have to do is not answer you and you're practically quirkless." Overhaul told the purple haired hero in training. Sir Nighteye launched some of his seals at the yakuza boss. "Stand down, Mindjack! Protect Lemillion!" Nighteye threw his support items at Overhaul.
"Where is Eraserhead? Has your lackey taken him?!" "I'm interested in heroes who can erase Quirks, so he's been shown to the VIP room." "You destroy other's quirks like it's second nature but you're frightened at the idea of you being on the receiving end. You perfected the bullets yet used one on my protégé. Were you that afraid of Lemillion?!"
Sir Nighteye dodged another one of Overhaul's attacks and was contemplating whether or not to use his quirk on him. Meanwhile Mindjack went to check on Lemillion. "Get to Eri!" Mindjack looked over to the villains, who hadn't fled yet because they were concerned for Eraserhead. "Do you spot him?" "No, they must be in a different room." Overhaul also attacked the villain duo while fighting Nighteye so it would be difficult to escape.
Unfortunately, despite the pro hero's skill it was not enough. As Overhaul impaled Nighteye through the stomach and arm. Mirio let out a cry of absolute horror at his mentor's fate while Mindjack just stared in shock. Mischief covered Eri's ears while Blaze covered her eyes. "Shh, it will all be ok..." Mischief comforted.
Overhaul focused fully on the villains, launching a barrage of spikes and pillars. Despite Blaze creating a barrier of ice, Overhaul's attacks were a lot stronger. The ice broke and since Mischief was holding Eri he didn't want to risk using One for All.
Dark Shadow smashed through the attack while at the same time Alien Queen dissolved the shrapnel. "You 3 alright?!" Alien Queen asked. "Apologies, we should've arrived sooner." Nightmare said. "Look who decided to join us! The traitors!" Alien Queen made a wall of her strongest acid.
"This won't hold, we have to leave. Now!" Alien Queen urged. "No...No I don't want this." Eri whispered. "See? Eri doesn't want to go with you. The flicker of hope Lemillion gave her has been extinguished." "Then we'll give her a reason to." Mischief replied.
"Might as well deal with the nuisances." In the blink of an eye, more of Overhaul's rock spikes flew at Mindjack and Lemillion. The former flung the latter to safety with his scarf. But his hammer got knocked away. Another wave came at him at all angles.
"Sorry we're late for the party!" Carnage blocks all attacks while Thundershock swoops up Mindjack. "Hey, Shin! Whaddya think of our plan?" Mindjack stares at Thundershock. "It's poorly planned." "Gee thanks, see if I ever save you again." "You've already done it twice..."
"No time for talking!" Carnage was being pushed back quickly. "DIE!!!" Overhaul barely dodged an explosion. "How many of you are there?!" "Enough to take you down, you damn extra!" King Explosion Murder dodged and landed beside Carnage.
"You're facing all of us." Overhaul dodged attacks from Candy Brawler and Ultradash. "Not you again. Didn't you learn from before, Ultradash?! Or do I have to get rid of your quirk permanently!" He looked around sensing multiple people in the room. "Everyone, move!" Heartbreak caused an earthquake which threw Overhaul off balance.
"I won't lose to a bunch of ru-" Ryukyu's agency and Katsukame crashed through the ceiling.
