(picture is almost exactly what I imagined scarlet wearing to dinner with spencer's fam)

My body is numb. I can't feel a damn thing and let's hope my ass don't fall off this fucking motorcycle. "S - Spencer." I try to say loud enough so he could hear me over his bike.

"Yes?" He did hear me.

"I c - can't feel m - my body." I stutter as my teeth chatter.

"Do I need to pull over?" He asks a few moment later.

"Y - yes please." he slows down and pulls over, into a parking lot.

He gets off his bike and wraps his arms around me, trying to make me warmer. "If we sit here for a few minutes, you'll warm up." He pulls his phone from his pocket.

"Hey dad, we had to make a pit stop, we're almost there but scarlet got really cold." He speaks into the phone.

"No, no. We'll be there soon, but maybe later tonight you and mom can drive my bike back, scarlet and I wanna stay later and have some drinks."

"Okay, okay. Yeah sure. That's fine. Okay see you there. Bye." He hangs up the phone and after a few more minutes we drive off again.

Once we arrive at the restaurant, spencer helps me off the motorcycle, letting me keep his jacket and we head into the building.

"Sorry about the ride, I should've told him no." Spencer's mom rushes up to me, hugging me and rubbing her hands up and down my arms in a comforting way.

"No no, it's okay" I smile at her, fixing the jacket around me.

"Do you want to take that off?" She asks, tugging at the sleeves of it. I nod my head even thought im still freezing my ass off.

She grabs it from me and hands it to the waiter, he takes it to the back after taking our order.

We all order medium-rare steaks, and whilst we await our food, it's like a game of twenty questions. Question after question, and I'm sure it would be the same way when my parents went out with Spencer and I.

The cold necklace on my skin gave me goosebumps. I took the necklace between my teeth, as the silence overcame us.

"Where'd you get that?" Spencer asks me, pointing to the necklace in my mouth.

"Oh uhm," I take it out of my mouth and held it between my pointer finger and thumb. "My mother, when I was younger. It's been my favorite one ever since." I smile at him as the waiter brings our food to the table.

We thank him as we take our knives and cut up the steak.

The only noise are the conversation of other people. Once we're finished, Spencer's mother stands from the table, "honey we should get going, it's going to be a long ride on Spencer's bike." She smiles at me and makes her way toward me, pulling me in for a hug and saying her goodbyes as her husband does the same.

After we hear them drive off, spencer drags me to the bar, on the other side of the restaurant. "Two beers." Spencer orders as we sit at the stools.

The bartender quickly fills the glasses and hands them to us, wiping his hands on a towel afterward.

"Let's not get too drunk tonight, wouldn't want to tell you how nervous you make me." I laugh, finishing my glass of beer.

The bartender refills it a few times as time quickly passes. "I make you nervous?" He questions, his words slurred.

"Hell yes." I confirm, sipping on the ice cold drink.

"How do I make you nervous?" He finishes his second beer, obviously drinking it slow, unlike me. He asks for a few shots of vodka.
