"Why don't you try dating?" 

My best friend aka Anvita suggested with her eyes on her laptop.

I raised an eyebrow. "You're suggesting that?" I said with a surprised expression plastered on my face. "What a surprise." 

"Just because I have never dated, doesn't mean I don't know about dating." She said with a smirk. "Besides, Chatgpt is great for advice." She said in a proud tone, but it quickly vanished when she heard my snort. 

"What?" She said with a slight frown on her face.

"Who the hell searches for dating advice in Chatgpt?" I say as I continue to snicker.

"Um- EVERYONE? I have seen some of the girls searching it in the middle of the class. I gave it a try too and honestly- it is great." She said with a bright smile and thumbs up.

I laughed at the gesture before I shrugged.

"Honestly I haven't dated in a while, and I probably won't." I say as I take a sip from my tea.

"Why is that-?" Anvita asked in a curious tone.

"Because of what happened last time." I sighed before continuing.

 "When I heard I am diagnosed with cancer, I told Han(her ex) about it, hoping he would comfort me and understand. But- instead he said he can't take it anymore and broke up before transferring to Canada." I said with as my lips trembled a bit before I frowned.

Anvita's face softened before it quickly hardened. "I hope he freezes to death there." She said with a glare. "Besides, thank god that idiot revealed his true colors and left. He basically saved your future." She said smugly and I laughed once again.

"And yourrrr wayyy out of his league, you practically look like an angel, Winter." She sighed dreamily and stared at me adoringly like a mother would. 

I smirked at the stare. "Are you done checking me out?" I joked as she frowned.

"I was admiring not checking you out." She huffed before she smiled.

"Same thing." I said with a shrug and smiled back. 

Suddenly Anvita's phone rang and she snapped her head towards it, grabbing it.

"Go to go." She said as she rose up from her seat.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why is that? What happened?"

"My professor is calling me, I have to present a presentation." She said with a eye roll.

"Sorry Angel, I'll call you." She said as she closed her laptop and shoved it inside her bag and blew me a kiss before walking out of the café.

I blew her a kiss back before my own phone rang and I quickly picked it up.

"Hello?" 

"Hello? Winter?"
