'dont leave me, I'm coming with you.'

No one's POV

Yooyeon and Seoyeon arrived at the broken bus stop just as the wind began to pick up, carrying with it the scent of rain and rust. The structure stood before them in quiet decay. Its once-sturdy roof sagged dangerously, metal beams bent and weathered. A shattered bench lay strewn across the ground, half buried in dirt, and what remained of the timetables clung to the frame, tattered and illegible.

'ughhh... why are we at Uni again...'

'you're the one who chose to follow me here', Yooyeon replied, 'anyways, I need ideas for the new bus stop design'

'Do you need help?'

'No. Just stay out of my way.'

Seoyeon taunted, 'Nobody is around. You can talk to me nicely.'

Yooyeon scoffed as she settled onto the floor. With a quick motion, she pulled out her sketchbook, flipping it open to a blank page. Her fingers tightened around the pencil, her expression a mix of indifference and focus.

'You keep on looking at it, but you haven't even drawn one line.'

'Engineers just sign and approve the design. What would you know? You have no idea how to be creative'

'Engineers might not be creative, but we get things done', Seoyeon says, standing up, 'If you don't believe me get up.'

'what are you doing?'

'get uppp', Seoyeon says, dragging Yooyeon up, 'You can't just sit and imagine it, you need to think in the mind of someone who will actually use the bus stop.'

'Let's do this, let's say we're friends', Seoyeon continued.

'no.'

'Lovers then.'

Yooyeon stared in disbelief.

'to get different perspectives!', Seoyeon declared., 'let's say we're in a relationship... and seeking shelter from the rain, and waiting to board a bus.'

'I'm not playing along.'

'I mean business here', Seoyeon smirked and said in a high pitched voice, 'come on baby...'

Yooyeon rolled her eyes, a sharp breath escaping her lips as she laughs.

'honeyyy... I'm all drenched. What should I do honey....'

Seoyeon smiles, her expression slightly exasperated as she rolls her eyes. She crosses her arms, clearly unimpressed by the scenario.

'go one then, hurry to the bus stop', Yooyeon sighed, 'the roof should be... this high and this curved...', she continued, quickly writing and sketching her new ideas.

'oh no! honeyyy, The rain stopped but it's sunny now, I'm getting sunburnt', Seoyeon advanced, sardonically.

Yooyeon walks around the remains of the bus stop, 'let's build a solar cell, it can generate energy from the sun, and can fuel the light for the night'

'hmph, honey, you only care about the bus stop, not me. I'm sulky now'

Yooyeon picked up something from the ground and sneered, 'Here's a dead flower, for someone as pretty as you.'

Holding back her curses, 'Jackass! So there's flowers growing around here too?', Seoyeon said mockingly, still in her awfully high-pitched voice.

'well, it's an eco-friendly busstop. We can have a drainpipe to water the flowers too'

'But, now I'm thirsty.'

'Drink from the drain!'

'No, you cow, I'm serious. This high-pitched voice is hurting my throat.'

Shaking her head, Yooyeon picks up and bag and reveals a bottle of Grape Green Tea, passing it to Seoyeon.

'Can you open it for me, honey?', a hint of amusement appearing behind her banter.

'prick..' Yooyeon muttered.

'come onnn... I helped you with loads of ideas.'

'ugh fine fine fine. Here, let me open it for you honey', she replied, mockingly, feeding it into Yooyeons mouth, 'isn't it refreshing honey?'

'mhm! More please'

Yooyeon tips the drink carton toward Seoyeon, her grin mischievous as the liquid starts to overflow. Seoyeon's eyes widen as she tries to keep up, but soon the drink spills from her mouth, dripping messily down her chin. "Seriously?" she mutters, half amused and half annoyed.

'Did you like that honey?'

'mm! I did honey!', she replied, in the most obvious sarcastic tone, then proceeding to run up to Yooyeon, to wipe her mouth on her shirt.

'AGH It's sticky!!! Get offffff!', Yooyeon responded, her voice echoing as she runs away from Seoyeon, chasing her.

...

They lie on the hard concrete floor. The sound of crickets and distant night noises filled the air as they lay side by side, the serene ambience wrapping around them like a blanket.

"Do you like it? The new bus stop', Seoyeon asks.

"I do. I'm just not sure if the seniors would like it."

"They will. Because I do."

A charged silence hung in the air as Seoyeon looked directly at the other girl, a challenge evident in her gaze. The words lingered, thickening the tension between them. Each heartbeat felt amplified. They just lay there. For a while.
