Once upon a time there was a young Brahmin boy named Sharadvan who was the son of Gautam Maharishi and his wife Devi Ahilya.
He was very fond of archery and wanted to learn dhanurvidya later on he mastered 5 branches of Dhanurved in weapons who are in the category of Mukta weapons, Amukta weapons,Mukta Amukta weapons,Yantra Mukta weapons and also got a knowledge in one of the most important pillar of named Mantra Mukta from which he learn celestial weapons.
After that to become an invincible Archer he went on to Tapasya of Lord Mahadev to earn invincibility.
The Yogic Powers of he is Tapasya was so powerful that his powers also started to affect Indraloka.
Lord Indra became scared because of his Tapasya he is scared that he may not take his throne so he started to make harsh weather to disturb his Tapasya but instead the yogic power of his Tapasya increased by multiple Times.
Later on he sent multiple apsaras to disturb his Tapasya but all his apsaras failed.
Later on he sent Janapadi who was one of the most beautiful apsaras in indralok.
And finally the Apsara Janapadi did
what Lord Indra wanted her to do.
Sharadvan after seeing Janapadi can't control himself and he ejaculated which resulted in the destruction of his brahmacharya and eventually his Yogic Powers.Shardwan became embarrassed and he was unable to do that Tapasya again so he left the woods to regain his purity
But unknown to him two twin children from his semen were born one male and another female child.
At the same time the Hastinapur King Maharaj Shantanu was hunting in the forest and one of his ministers found the twin children born from the semen of Shardwan
After seeing these children Maharaj Shantanu adopted the twins as Kripa and Kripa.
After Shardwan knows that twin children are born from his semen and are adopted by Kuru King Maharaj Shantanu he goes to Hastinapur to reveal the parentage of Kripa and Kripi. When Maharaj Shantanu knows about that then he allows Kripa to learn dhanurved from his father.
Shardwan gave each and every knowledge and its celestial weapons to his son which he got in his entire life and returned to the forest to resume Tapasya.
Due to his knowledge Vedas Shastras and dhanurved Kripa was appointed by Maharaj Shantanu as kulguru of Hastinapur and Kripa was known as kripacharya by every resident of Hastinapur.
His life was full of luxurious facilities and he got his sister Kripi married to the son of one of the most revered sages named Bhardwaj whose son was equally knowledgeable in Dhanurveda as him who got knowledge from his father Bhardwaj then from other sages such as Agnivesh and Agastya and got many divine weapons from them is like maha agneyastra and Brahmastra from them.
That person was none other than Drona who was born in the same manner as him as when his father Bhardwaj was meditating then just like Shardwan Lord Indra tried to send apsaras to disturb Bhardwaj Tapasya due to which Sage Bharadwaj ejaculated in a pot and because of it Drona was born.
Because of his knowledge he was popularly known as Dronacharya to Aryavart and Kripacharya was pleased to give his sister's hand to him in Marriage.
Even Kripi was pleased to marry Dronacharya but one thing which she always wished to have a son,not a normal one but a son who would be born from the boon of Lord Mahadev.
