"Iris Nymphaea Narcissus, a name made up of a combination of three flowers, Iris latifolia, Nymphaea or the water lily, and Narcissus or the daffodil. What a pretty name, befitting the beauty of the owner. It was just so sad that she won't last long" said a young man while looking at the patient named Iris. His eyes does not hold sympathy at all. It was as if he was saying "you deserved it" through the unpleasant stares he gave to the young woman lying in bed.

"What were you trying to say about Milady young man?" A cold menacing voice echoed. The butler named Alfonso asked the young man in the same room as him as his Young Mistress, his face contorted with anger battling with his self-control.

"It is what it is old man. She's dying, and there's nothing you can do about it." The young man mocked the loyal butler.

"She's your sister and you are talking like that?"

"Correction old man, half-sister. It's actually quite a shame that Dad let her carry the Narcissus surname"

Alfonso was fuming mad but he can't hit the young man as he was the heir to the Narcissus, the young master of the household, while he's nothing but a butler of the young mistress. Dalton—the young man, left the room satisfied after seeing the butler's face.

Hearing the door of the room closed, Alfonso sighed. He's mad at the situation, and he felt sorry for his Young Mistress. He went to his Young Mistress' side and talked to her despite being unconscious like he usually do when this happens.

"Milady it has been a day already, please wake up soon and smile brightly, like you always do" he begged, despite that the young mistress is still not waking up. He heaved another deep sigh and left the room, carefully closing the door behind him.

Somewhere in the dark was a young woman named Iris. It was all darkness, there was nothing in there but darkness, she couldn’t even feel a wall. She can hear voices of familiar people talking. One with an unpleasant tone, just the one she dislike, and a familiar worried tone of that someone she treasures more than anyone else in her life. Her butler, at the same time the only big brother and parent she had, Alfonso. Though she has a family, her mom left the world already when she was still young, her dad discarded her as she was just a daughter he never expected to have, she was left in the care of Alfonso, her butler who also became her only family. She missed him so much. She wanted to say that she wants to see him again but her voice couldn't even get out of that darkness. She didn't even know where she was.

She walked in the dark, despite not knowing where she was going until she saw a faint light. She followed that light until she could finally see her surroundings. She was inside a familiar room painted in all white, the hospital, and her butler who was by her side talking to her unconscious body.

Iris could see her body lying on that familiar bed. It hurts her to see that scenario, to see the only family she had to beg for her to wake up. Iris moved towards her body and tried merging with it, but she can't, no matter how hard she tried.

It saddened her that she can't go back and all she could do was to watch Alfonso hurting at the familiar scenario in front of him.

"I'm sorry Alfonso, I wish I could go back and see you smile again but it seems like I can't, I didn't even know how I end up being separated from my body." Iris whispered while looking at her butler.

"Milady, isn't it time to wake up already?" Alfonso asked softly while staring at the young woman gently.

Silence filled the four corners of the room, after a few moments, the steady beeping sound of the machine beside the bed of Iris started beeping rapidly, the fluctuation of the heart beat became unstable. Alfonso panicked but immediately called for the nurses and the doctor. It wasn't long before the long beep of the machine was heard, and a straight line was seen on the monitor. They tried to revive her but it didn't help at all.

Iris was pronounced dead, and she saw it all through her soul who can't go back to her body. She saw how brokenhearted Alfonso was, her brother and the only family she had despite not being blood related at all. He cried silently, and it hurts her to see him being a mess. Alfonso was always calm and collected, or perhaps he was just so good at hiding his feelings.

"I wished I could spend more time with you Alfonso, but I don't think it would happen anymore. I'm sorry but it's a goodbye. And if ever reincarnation exists, I still want you to be there for me as my brother and my family. Goodbye, until then." She whispered softly in Alfonso's ears and hugged him one more time before she let herself be dragged into the darkness she once was in.

She let herself be enveloped by it, she embraced it as she knew it was the end. She had a lot of wishes, what if's in life, dreams that she wanted to fulfill. And then she started uttering her wishes.

"I wished to go for an adventure, to be able to walk by the sea and feel the water, to be up in the air, to be able to apply things I've learned from all the books I've read, to help those who are sick just like me, and I wished I could have spent some time under the sun as I enjoy the beauty of nature where flowers bloom everywhere, trees were green and grand, herbs for treatment are accessible, to pick up fresh fruits and vegetables I grew myself. There's so much I wished I could have done while I was still alive, but I can't. If ever there  is reincarnation, I will go on a lot of adventures  and I—" she halted when a voice echoed together with the bright blue light that appeared before her eyes. She eyed the light and found it was actually letters. It popped up out of nowhere per phrase one after another, and the voice echoes like a voice over.

"W-What?"

It was all she could say after the series of skills displayed in the darkness before her, and that monotonous voice she could hear from all over. She can't process yet what's going on, though it sounds familiar to her.

Wait? Am I getting reincarnated? Those were her thoughts before she lost consciousness and the darkness swallowed her whole again.

[Answer: Yes] the voice once again echoed in response to her question together with the blue panel with letters on it, but there was no way Iris could hear.
