With her brown hair dolled up neatly, Minjeongs smiled giddily as she watched Jimin dance with a grumpy Ningning. Until the woman in white noticed her. "Oh, you're back!"
She nodded and caught her in her arms with a chuckle. "I am. I'm sorry, my mom couldn't stop crying." She quirked her eyebrow when Jimin started to sway their body around. "Are you drunk?"
Jimin giggled and leaned closer to whisper in her ear. "I'm pretending to be so my family would not ask me for a dance."
She scrunched up her nose. "Crazy."
"Can you not act like this?" Ningning came up to them just as Aeri appeared with her glass of champagne, face amused as she watched the couple still swaying out of rhythm. "You're gonna end up on the front page of some random magazine again."
"Oh, like that time?" Aeri laughed loudly before straightening herself, gesturing with her hands in the air. "Yu Jimin, a young CEO, sweetly covers her lover's neck during a conference because of love marks."
Jimin squinted her eyes. "Shut up."
Crossing her arms on her chest, Ningning eyed her up and down. "You're not really drunk, are you?"
"This is my wedding day, I can be as drunk as I want." She shrugged. "Even though I'm just faking it." She tugged on Minjeong's hand, grinning widely. "Let's go dance now."
With one hand pulling up her white dress, Minjeong nodded excitedly. "Okay."
The two of them watched the couple walk a bit further as two familiar faces joined them. Both Ningning and Aeri smiled at the man, but Ningning couldn't hold herself back. "How does it feel to lose the love of your life twice?" Aeri smacked her arm, but Eun Woo, surprisingly, just chuckled.
"Look at the two of them." He tipped his glass to where Jimin was twirling Minjeong. "I could never hate them even if I wanted to. They're so in love with each other."
Yeji scrunched up her nose. "Don't worry, Eun Woo, you're not the only one." She sighed but her smile never left her face. "I once was in love with that fool too and she rejected me, maybe because I was a girl, now look at her, she's marrying a woman and all." Shaking her head, her smile faltered a bit. "I just wish it's legal here."
"Eh, documents don't matter, everyone knows those two would be together for a really long time, anyway." Ningning argued. "It just still feels so weird seeing Jimin like this. Back then, she thought she was incapable of love. Now, she was full with it, only for Kim Minjeong."
"I know right." Aeri nodded. "I heard Jimin couldn't bother getting a dress back then. The new Jimin? She looked for it throughout the whole country, yet came back to beg me to make the perfect one for her wedding." They laughed along together, until Aeri suddenly paused and looked at the entrance. "Oh, I think that's Yeri unnie."
The four of them looked at the direction, Eun Woo accidentally bumped into Yeji, spilling his glass on her dress. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Yeji." His hands frantically flying around, not sure if it was appropriate for him to touch her.
"It's okay." Though she said it, the ginger frown as she looked around for a napkin.
"You two deal with that, we'll be right back." Aeri wriggled her eyebrows at Ningning who frowned in response. "Come on, Ningning."
As they walked away, Ningning whispered. "You know that she's gay, right?"
"I thought that was just a joke?"
Yeji kept reassuring the man, uncomfortable by his panicked gaze on her dress. "Eun Woo, it's really fine." She chuckled awkwardly. "I know it was just an accident, don't worry." She grabbed her wandering hand to stop him but froze.
