The progress continued after Cha Eun Woo's visit. Telling the rest that he would start with the sibling's parents, both him and Jimin kept the thing about Minsik's adoptive family a secret.

Too many times Jimin wanted to tell Minjeong and see if the woman would have any input, but she fought against it. Not because she didn't trust her, she just didn't want to add another worry to her list.

From then on, it was the usual. Kim Aeri and Minsik visited a couple times in a week, agreeing it was the best they could do right now because not only his life should go on, Minjeong needed hers to continue as normal too.

Not to mention that Jimin's grandfather had also made a few more visits to check in and told them to go on dates. He even made reservations for their dinner, the two of them only, or similar things like that.

Dates. He was forcing the two of them to go out on dates numerous times by now. It wasn't like they hated it, they actually enjoyed spending their time together and surprisingly for Jimin, she hadn't run out of topics to talk about, nor had she run out of interest to listen to Minjeong's stories. But right now, they had another priority.

Every time there was an update from the detective, the four of them, sometimes with Ningning who insisted on taking a few days off in between her full schedule, would try to help Eun Woo to dig deeper. They even called some people that might know the sibling's parents or have knowledge about the accident.

Little by little, information was gathered, but now both Jimin and Minjeong had to go back to work.

Jimin felt a bit weird now that she had spent a full month with Kim Minjeong, not separated from her throughout her days, and suddenly, she had to go back to working alone, in her empty office, without her in sight.

Especially when she looked so dashing this morning.

Minjeong still didn't like that she has a male body, but it cheered her up a little when Jimin told she could wear whatever she wanted, and that she should just ignore whatever Minsik said about it when she saw them talking.

After all, Minsik had been wasting Minjeong's body too. Like, everyone who had eyes could see that the blonde was an attractive young woman, after googling her name, Jimin saw how Minjeong used to dress. Minsik could never be compared.

She was a bit upset about that too. She felt like it was a pity, she was worried that Minjeong's name would be stained by the plain way Minsik was dressing. It wasn't that important, but it still bothered her. He kept wearing black, loose t-shirt over a black plain long pants. Jimin wasn't the only one who had an ick, Kim Aeri apparently did too.

But Minjeong didn't complain much. Maybe because she was a kind person, or that Minsik was her older brother, or maybe because she didn't want him to meddle in the way she was picking her outfits too.

Jimin wondered why Minsik didn't like it. With Minjeong inside his body, he looked ten times better than he usually did, even Jimin was blushing earlier.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Yeji, her client, asked from across the table, her eyes studied Jimin who tried to bite her lip to stay still. "Are you thinking about your fiancé?"

Keeping her eyes down on her screen, Jimin shook her head. "No. Don't ask, just sign the contract and leave. It's past lunch time."

"I don't wanna." She leaned in with a small smile on her face. "We used to be close in high school, Jimin. You used to tell me everything."

Looking up with a frown, Jimin gave her a confused look. "How did you gaslight yourself into that?"

She rolled her eyes and laughed. "By everything, I mean everything. Because you rarely have anything besides school work, so for you, that's basically everything." She crossed her arms on her chest. "So, tell me."
