Jungkook is getting ready for school, putting on his backpack and preparing to leave. But before he can go, Taehyung stops him.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Jungkook turns to Taehyung and answers innocently.
"I'm going to school, like I do every day. Why?"

Taehyung crosses his arms and gives him a stern look.
"No, you're not. You're still weak from your illness. You need to rest and recover, not go to school and risk your health."

Jungkook tries to reason with Taehyung, pleading with him.
"But, hyung, I need to go to school. Suho took notes for me while I was sick and I need to get them from him. Please, let me go just this once and-"

Taehyung's ears perk up when he hears Suho's name, and his expression darkens. He cuts Jungkook off with a cold tone.

"No. You're not going to school, especially not because of that boy. I don’t care if he took notes for you or not. You're staying home and resting, that's final."

Jungkook's expression turns into a pout, disappointed that Taehyung isn't budging on his decision. He tries to reason with him again.
"But I need those notes. I'll fall behind in my studies if I don't get them. Please, can't I just go to school for a little while to get the notes and come back?"

Taehyung's expression remains firm, his arms still crossed. He shakes his head, his voice leaving no room for debate.
"No, you're not going to school.
I don't care about those notes or your studies. Your health is more important than some damn notes."

Jungkook continues to argue with Taehyung, trying to convince him to let him go to school. The arguing continues until Taehyung loses his patience, raising his voice with annoyance.

"Damn it, Jungkook! I said no! You're not going to school, and that's the end of it."

Jungkook sniffles and tears start to run down his face as he runs away, heading towards his room.

Taehyung watches as Jungkook runs away, tears streaming dowm his face. He sits down on the couch, a small smirk appearing on his face at first, but it quickly fades into a look of sadness and regret.

Taehyung's inner voice starts to chastise him, reminding him that he made Jungkook cry.

"Damn it...I made him cry again. He grips his hair tightly, feeling guilty and frustrated.

"No, no, nothing's gonna happen to him. He'll forgive me, he always does."

Taehyung picks up a medicine bottle from the table and takes out a pill. He then grabs a glass of water, his hand trembling slightly.

"He's fine. He's fine. Nothing will happen to him. He's fine."
He repeats these words to himself like a mantra, trying to reassure himself as he takes the pill and washes it down with water.

Taehyung sit on the couch for a moment, still repeating the mantra to himself. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself down from the events of the past few minutes.

Taehyung grabs his phone and dials a number, his expression cold and serious. As the line connects, he speaks into the phone with authority.

"It's me. Jimin, I need you to do something. I want you to go to Jungkook's school and find a boy named Suho. Bring him to the usual place and make sure he doesn't come near Jungkook again. Make him regret ever talking to Jungkook. Understood?"

Jimin's voice comes through the phone, sounding worried and concerned.
"Taehyung, what are you doing? Suho is Jungkook's friend. Why do you want us to hurt him?"

Taehyung clenches his jaw, his anger rising as he speaks.
"I don't care if he's his friend or not. I don't want that boy anywhere near Jungkook ever again. Just do as I say, and don't ask questions."

Jimin is hesitant but replies obediently.
"Alright, we'll do it. Just like you say. But...are you sure this is necessary? Couldn't you talk with Jungkook and-"

"No, I'm sure. I don't want that boy anywhere near Jungkook. Do it and don't question me."
Taehyung interrupts him, his tone firm and authoritative.

Jimin, still worried, "Taehyung, don't forget to take your medicine, okay?"

Taehyung replies briefly.
"Yes, I will. Don't worry about it."

He then hangs up the call, his mind now focused on punishing Suho and making sure he stays away from Jungkook.

Taehyung quickly composes himself and stands up from the couch. He walks to Jungkook's room and mutters to himself as he reaches the door.

"He forgives me. He's safe. I won't let anything happen to him."

Taehyung gently knocks on the door, hoping that Jungkook will open it and talk to him.

There's no response from inside the room, silence. Taehyung knocks again, a bit louder this time.

"Jungkook, it's me. Can I come in?"

Still no answer. Taehyung can hear nothing on the other side of the door, no noise.

"Jungkook? Are you okay? Please, open the door."

He tries the handle, hoping that maybe the door is unlocked. But it doesn't budge.

Taehyung feels a mix of guilt, worry, and frustration, knowing that Jungkook must be upset with him.

"Damn it, open the door, I just want to talk. I'm sorry for what I said before."

He knocks on the door again, harder this time, almost banging on it.

Finally, after knocking for what seems like an eternity, Taehyung hears a soft voice from the other side of the door.

"Go away..."
Jungkook's voice is quiet and cold, and it's clear that he's still upset with Taehyung.

Taehyung's heart clenches at the coldness in Jungkook's voice, but he doesn't give up.
"Please, just open the door and let me talk to you. I don't want to do this through the door."

There's a moment of silence before Jungkook responds again.
"No. I don't want to talk to you. Go away."

Taehyung leans his forehead against the door, feeling hopeless and frustrated.

He takes a deep breath, trying to control his emotions.
"Look, I'm sorry. I really am. I shouldn't have yelled at you and told you not to go to school. I was just worried about you. But it doesn't matter now. Just open the door and talk to me please."

Taehyung's eyes widen as Jungkook finally opens the door, tears streaming down his face. Taehyung immediately pulls him into a tight hug, enveloping Jungkook in his arms.

"Hey, hey...don't cry, please. I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry for everything. Just please don't cry."

Taehyung carries Jungkook over to the bed and sits down, pulling him onto his lap. He continues to hug him tightly, feeling the wetness of Jungkook's tears against his chest.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I really am. I shouldn't have yelled at you and made you cry like this. I was just worried about you, that's all. I never wanted to hurt you."

Taehyung keeps holding Jungkook on his lap, gently stroking his hair as he calms down. He peppers his forehead with gentle kisses, knowing that Jungkook is exhausted from crying.
"It's okay, baby. Just rest now. I'm here, and I won't let go."

Taehyung leans back against the headboard, still holding Jungkook, watching as he slowly drifts off to sleep.

He continues to gently pet Jungkook's hair, his other arm wrapped securely around him. Taehyung lets out a long sigh, feeling relieved that Jungkook has calmed down, but also feeling guilty for causing him to cry in the first place.

"I never want to see you crying like this again," he mutters to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll do better. I promise I'll do better."
