Taehyung's eyes widen at the sound of Jungkook's voice. His heart skips a beat, and for a moment he thinks he's dreaming.
He sits up from the couch, his voice filled with urgency as he speaks into the phone.
"Kookie? Is that you? Where are you? What's wrong?"But the call goes straight to voicemail, leaving Taehyung even more worried and confused.
He quickly redials, his breath coming in short gasps as he prays for Jungkook to answer.
"Please, please...Answer me," taehyung repeats, his voice full of raw emotion. "Kookie, where are you? Talk to me... Don't leave me hanging like this."
The more Taehyung thinks about it, the more he is convinced that he heard Jungkook's voice on the phone. It was muffled and shaken, but he would recognize that sweetness anywhere.
His heart is racing now, his mind going through all the possible scenarios as he wonders where Jungkook could be and why he sounded so distressed.
"I heard him," Taehyung says, his voice firm with determination. "It was Jungkook. I know it was, I could hear it in his voice..."
He tries calling Jungkook back again and again, but each time it goes straight to voicemail. Taehyung's frustration and worry grow as he desperately tries to reach the younger boy.
"Dammit, Kook, where are you?" taehyung mutters under his breath, his knuckles turning white from gripping the phone so tightly. "Why won't you answer? Please, just... Just let me know you're okay."
Taehyung is beyond frustrated now, his fists clenching with anger. He stands up from the couch, still clutching the phone in his hand.
"Damn it, Sang-woo!" he curses, his voice echoing in the empty living room. "What did you do to Kookie, you bastard? I'll make you pay for this."
With a determined expression, Taehyung quickly puts on his jacket and grabs his car keys, heading out to find Jungkook and bring him back safely.
He rushes out of the house, his heart pounding in his chest as he gets into his car. Taehyung's mind is racing with thoughts of all the possible dangers Jungkook might be facing.
Taehyung drives like a madman, trying to get to Jungkook as quickly as possible. Taehyung's hands grip the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles turning white.
"Hang on, Kook," he murmurs under his breath, his eyes focused on the road ahead. "I'm coming to get you..."

.On a different side of the world, a young boy is caught crying and pleading as a man forcefully takes his phone away.
The man looks at the young boy, his eyes filled with anger. He quickly reaches out and slaps the boy hard across the face.
"Stay within your limits, Jungkook," he says, his voice filled with menace. "You do as I say, and nothing more."
The young boy, tears still streaming down his face, nods and whispers obediently "yes, dad." The man, Sang-woo, smirks at the submissive response, satisfied that he has the boy under his control.
Over the past five years, Sang-woo has taken Jungkook to Paris, using medications to make him forget everything they've been through. Since then, Sang-woo has taught Jungkook to think of him as his father, but he no longer acts abusive towards the boy.
However, this time, Jungkook somehow got hold of a random number - which just happened to be Taehyung's number.
Sang-woo's smirk grows wider as he looks down at the young boy, his eyes cold and filled with anger.
"You took my phone and called a random number,"sang-woo says, his voice low and dangerous. "You know that's against the rules, Jungkook. And you know what happens when you break the rules. It's time for your punishment."
The boy trembles, his eyes wide with fear. He knows that he has made a mistake and will have to pay for it.
"I-I'm sorry, dad," jungkook whispers, his voice shaking. "I won't do it again, I promise. Please, don't hurt me..."
"Your apologies mean nothing to me," sang-woo says, his voice harsh. "You knew the rules, and you broke them. You'll learn your lesson, Jungkook. You won't make the same mistake again."
Jungkook nods, his bottom lip trembling as he tries to hold back tears. He knows that trying to argue or resist will only make things worse for him. He is completely at Sang-woo's mercy.
Sang-woo lets go of the young boy and points towards the bedroom.
"Go to the bedroom," sang-woo says, his tone firm. "I'll be there in a moment. You better be there, waiting and ready for your punishment."
The young boy nods silently, tears still streaming down his face. He turns and walks obediently to the bedroom, his heart pounding in his chest with fear and dread. He knows that the punishment he is about to receive will be painful and humiliating.
