COSMO POV:
With Sprout preoccupied with helping Shelly, Cosmo finds himself on his own for the day. He aimlessly looks around the space, feeling a bit lonely without his friend by his side. As Cosmo opens his door to walk out, Cosmo is suddenly taken aback by the sudden appearance of Dandy, and lets out a surprised yelp, his heart beating in his chest. He quickly calms down when he notices Dandy's familiar smile and flower-esque appearance.
"D-Dandy? What are you doing here?" Cosmo manages to stammer, his initial shock somewhat fading but surprise still evident in his voice. Cosmo can't shake off the uneasy feeling that Dandy's constant smile gives him. The sight of Dandy just staring and smiling at him makes Cosmo uncomfortable, and his body tensed. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, Dandy speaks up, his voice cheerful but also tinged with a hint of mockery.
"Hey there, Cosmo!" he exclaims, still wearing his unwavering grin. Cosmo lets out a small sigh of relief as Dandy finally speaks. However, the hint of mockery in Dandy's tone makes him feel uneasy once again. He rubs the back of his head awkwardly and responds with a friendly but guarded voice.
"Um, hey Dandy. Is there something you need?" Dandy clapping his hand together happily speaks in a joyful voice "Well yes, I notice how you were all alone because....Sprout had to help out Astro... SO! I wanted you to join me to go tend to my garden." Cosmo still caught off guard by Dandy's appearance, hesitates momentarily before replying.
"Tending to your garden?" he repeats, his brows furrowed in thought. After taking a moment to consider it, Cosmos shrugs."Sure, I guess. I've got nothing better to do," Dandy's grin widens as Cosmos agrees to tend to his garden. "Splendid!" he exclaims, clapping his hands together in excitement. "I knew you'd be up for it!" Dandy reaches out and grabs onto Cosmo's hand, leading him out of his room and towards Dandy's garden.
Cosmo walks alongside Dandy, slightly weirded out by the way Dandy grips his hand. Dandy leads him out of his room and outside the building, guiding him towards his garden. With every step they take, Cosmo can't quite shake off the uneasy feeling Dandy's relentless grin is giving him. Cosmo's mind wanders to the thought of baking with Sprout, yearning for the peaceful and familiar comfort it brings. Being with Dandy, on the other hand, feels okay but a bit unsettling. He sighs and continues walking alongside Dandy.
As Dandy and Cosmo start tending to the garden, Dandy chatters away as they work. Cosmo, half-listening to Dandy's words, focuses more on the task at hand. He busies himself with planting, watering and weeding, nodding and responding to Dandy's ramblings. As Dandy and Cosmo continue working on the garden, Dandy turns to Cosmo and smiles, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. With a slight grin, Dandy asks in a teasing tone.
"So, how is your relationship with Sprout? You two have gotten quite close, haven't you?" Cosmo's brows furrow in confusion at Dandy's question. He looks at Dandy, a mixture of suspicion and unease in his expression. "How do you know about that?" he asks, his voice tinged with a hint of wariness. Dandy chuckles lightly at Cosmo's confusion and answers casually. "Oh, just a friendly observation," he says, waving his hand nonchalantly. "I see the way you two are always together, doing things together, how he can make you smile and laugh... it's quite adorable, really."
