XXI: Wilted Flower
The Price of Pain | The cost of enduring suffering, often leading to transformation or growth.
"Do you know that feeling,
as if you're crawling through an endless, dark maze,
where the shadows loom, twisting and turning,
leading you to nowhere? You crawl and crawl,
a silent prayer for a flicker of light,
but something dark clings to your heel,
dragging you back into a nightmarish abyss. The air is thick and heavy,
suffocating like a forgotten secret.
Around you, dead branches reach out,
twisted fingers grasping at hope,
while wilted flowers lie strewn across the ground,
their colors faded, petals crumbling like lost dreams. Each step is a struggle,
the ground cold and unyielding beneath you,
and the echo of your heartbeat resonates,
a haunting reminder of what once was,
what slipped through your fingers like sand.In this desolate labyrinth,
you feel the weight of despair settle in,
as the walls close in,
and the darkness whispers promises of solitude,
echoing the emptiness left behind. With every breath,
you yearn for a glimmer,
a trace of warmth that once enveloped you,
but all that remains is the chill of absence,
and the suffocating silence of a love now lost.- Labyrinth of Shadows."
"Can you eat something for fuck's sake, dude?" Riki's voice cut through the heavy silence.
Minho closed his diary and leaned back against the tree branch, gazing up at the gloomy sky with a sad smile.
"I'm okay, trust me," he replied, finally meeting his best friend's worried gaze and offering a weak, reassuring grin.
"How are you okay? Seriously, when was the last time you ate? You're going to fucking die!" Riki's voice rose, frustration spilling out in harsh words.
"Let it happen, Riki. Just let it happen," Minho said, his smile softening into something warmer, yet tinged with resignation.
