As soon as Lucy threw up I knew it she was pregnant ofc I felt bad for lying to her but it was for the best but I have noticed her belly a little more round and she barely even ever eats so I had a plan after my shift I would get get her pregnancy tests chocolate and other snacks and go to her apartment so she can take the pregnancy test
After I got out the locker rooms Nyla came up to me
N- hey what's up with Chen and Bradford I haven't seen him a while and she just left work early
I froze idk if it's my place to say so I took a deep breath in and told her I didn't know if I could say anything she wouldn't stop begging me to tell her all day so at lunch I decided to tell her she was flabbergasted like jaw hit the floor and everything she asked me if she could come to Lucy's apartment I told her yeah maybe I don't think she'll mind so that was our plan for after work
There wasn't that many hard cases it was a slow day but I was ok with it I had a lot on my mind like how Lucy is going to to be a single mom for the first few years of her child's life and she has no contact with Tim and won't be able to tell him but I couldn't focus on that I had to do my work
So after shift me and Nyla grabbed the things and went to Lucy's apartment
We knocked on the door she opened it she was in her pajamas with puffy red eyes we hugged her
N- we brought u something
Nyla told her handing her the bag
Lucy was confused as she was opening the bag and asked why
I told her
u have symptoms so why not try
She nodded took the test and went to the bathroom she was taking a while so me and Nyla knocked on the door no answer we knocked again no answer again we knocked one last time and before I almost kicked the door down she opened it
