LUCYS POV
I was getting home from work I put Michelle down to play with her toys and I was about to start cleaning when I heard a knock I went to go open it and it was Tim
L- hey come in sorry it's a mess
T- no it's not
I just let him in
T- it's so different in here
L- yeah well I had to make space for Michelle
He just stayed silent
T- here this is for you and this is for Michelle
I thanked him I opened the bag and was surprised to find my favorite food
L- you remembered
He told me
T- always do and always will
That made me get butterflies for some reason
I opened the other bag and found different types of baby snacks
L- omg life saver
I giggled
TIMS POV
I asked Lucy why I was a life saver
She told me
L- Michelle started to grow in her teeth and she likes to chew on everything and these are her favorite types of snacks
T- ooh ok
Lucy asked me
L- so do you want to carrry her standing up or sitting down
I told her sitting down
As I sat down because I was scared I would hurt Michelle by dropping her or something
Lucy handed me Michelle and said
L- ok talk to her I have to go make her dinner want something something
I shaked my head no
T- no thank you
L- are you sure
T- yes I ate before I came
L-okayyy
Lucy went to the kitchen and I started playing and talking with Michelle
T- hi Michelle I'm your daddy sorry I haven't been here I was somewhere else for a long time but I'm back and I promise to love you forever
I go up to whisper in her ear
T- and I promise to love your mom forever too
Michelle gave me a little smile
And I just laughed I continued talking with her
LUCYS POV
As I was making Michelle some Mac and cheese i saw Tim was talking and whispering to her it was so cute I finished making her food and asked Tim if he could bring her to her high chair
T-we are coming
Tim pretended as if Michelle was an airplane and her chair was the landing pad it was so cute the way she laughed and the sparkle in his eyes I just had to laugh at how cute cute it was
T- what did you make her
I told him I made her mac and cheese
T- isn't she too little to be eating solid food
L- Tim it's fine her doctor said it's ok stop worrying so much and do you think I don't know how to take care of a baby
T- no it's not that sorry it's just she seems so little
I got mad at him he hasn't been here for a year and four months he doesn't know what's best for my daughter well ig our daughter now but he does have a point she seems very little to be 7 months but the doctors haven't told me anything
T- Lucy I'm sorry
L- no it's fine do you want to try and feed her
T- sure
I give to plate to Tim and he pretendeds the spoon is a plane and Michelle just laughs
After Michelle is fed I let her watch a bit of tv before bathing her
T- she's beautiful
L- I told you she looks just like you
T- no well yeah but she has your personality I can tell
L- Tim she's a baby how can you tell 😂
T- I just can 😂
L- ok I have to bathe her and but her to bed still have the energy old man 😂
I say teasing him
T- yes and I'm not old
L- Tim don't lie to your self
T- let's bathe her
L- ok
TIMS POV
I always loved when Lucy teased me it used to be our love language
I get up and go to the bathroom to help Lucy bathe our princess
Lucy splashes me with the water from the tub so I do the same
We get everything wet and get back to bathing Michelle
T- I'll help you clean after this
L-it's fine 😂 I started I'll clean it after we get her out
I nodded her saying we made me get butterflies I wish I could be us together all the time but I know I have to work on gaining her trust again
After we get Michelle out the bath we take her to her nursery and we dress her
T- lucy
L- yeah
I get on my knee and pull out the ring
L- Tim what are you doing
T- look ik it's too early for an engagement but maybe this can work as a promise ring because I promise to love you to take care of you and to be honest with you from now on I also hope I can gain your trust again
I can tell she was thinking about it
L - ..yes
I put the ring on Lucy and pulled out the necklace for Michelle
L- what's that
I get on me knee and face Michelle's crib which she's in
T- Michelle this is for you I promise to love you to be there for you and protect you Ill always be here for you my beautiful princess I love you and your gorgeous mom
I got up and put it on Michelle
LUCYS POV
L- aww Tim
I couldn't believe he promised just me but our daughter too
T- what happened
L- I love you
I say hugging him
T- I love you too always have always will
I just hugged him tighter
L- I think someone should stay the night but you don't get nakey privileges just yet I just miss sleeping in your arms
T- I miss sleeping with you nakey or no nakey
We both just laugh
We make sure Michelle is asleep take off her necklace put it back in the box it came in and go to my bed totally forgetting about the bathroom mess
