The city streets blurred around them as they raced through the late afternoon light. Buildings and trees became mere flashes of color in Jimin’s peripheral vision, and the wind pulled at his clothes and hair. He leaned closer to Jungkook, feeling the warmth of his body and the steady rhythm of his breathing. Despite the speed and the rush of the ride, Jimin felt at peace.

He had always loved this—riding with Jungkook. The way the world melted away, and it was just the two of them, the hum of the engine beneath them, and the thrill of the open road.

As they turned a corner, Jungkook slowed the bike slightly, allowing Jimin to take in more of their surroundings. They weren’t heading home—not yet, at least. Jungkook always had a way of surprising him, taking him on detours through parts of the city Jimin had never explored on his own.

Tonight, it seemed, was no different.

They cruised down a quieter street lined with small cafes and boutique shops, their neon signs flickering on as dusk began to settle. Jimin rested his chin on Jungkook’s shoulder, letting out a contented sigh. It wasn’t often that they got to spend moments like this together—both of their schedules were packed, and Jungkook had his sports practice and other responsibilities at university. But when they did find time, Jungkook always made it feel special.

"Where are we going?" Jimin asked, his voice barely audible over the sound of the engine.

Jungkook chuckled, glancing back at him for a second. "You'll see."

Jimin smiled, knowing better than to push for an answer. Jungkook had a habit of planning surprises, and Jimin had learned to just enjoy the ride—literally and figuratively.

Soon enough, the cityscape around them began to change. The tall buildings gave way to the sprawling view of the Han River, its waters shimmering under the fading light. Jungkook pulled the Harley into a quiet riverside park, parking near one of the benches overlooking the river.

Jimin dismounted first, stretching his legs and taking in the view as Jungkook parked the bike and removed his helmet. His dark hair, slightly tousled from the ride, made him look effortlessly cool, and Jimin couldn’t help but stare for a moment. No matter how many times he saw Jungkook like this, it never got old.

Jungkook turned to him, smirking as he caught Jimin staring. "What?" he asked, feigning innocence.

Jimin rolled his eyes, though a blush crept up his cheeks. "Nothing," he mumbled, looking away.

Jungkook laughed, stepping closer and wrapping an arm around Jimin's shoulders. "Come on, let’s walk."

They strolled along the riverbank, the cool evening air refreshing after the exhilarating ride. For a while, neither of them said anything, simply enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. It was rare for them to have this kind of quiet time together, away from the demands of university life and everything else.

Eventually, Jungkook broke the silence. "You know," he began, his voice soft, "I’ve been thinking…"

Jimin glanced at him, curious. "About what?"

Jungkook paused for a moment, as if weighing his words. "About us. About the future."

Jimin’s heart skipped a beat. "The future?"

Jungkook nodded, looking out at the river. "Yeah. I mean, we’ve been together for a while now, and… I just keep thinking about what’s next for us. What you want. What I want."

Jimin felt a warmth spreading through his chest. He tightened his grip on Jungkook's hand, smiling softly. "What do you want, Jungkook?"

Jungkook turned to face him, his dark eyes locking onto Jimin's. There was a sincerity in his gaze that made Jimin's heart race.

"I want to be with you," Jungkook said, his voice steady. "No matter what. I want us to keep doing this—being together, facing everything that comes our way. I want to make more memories with you, go on more rides, and just… live our lives the way we want."

Jimin’s breath hitched. He had never doubted Jungkook’s love for him, but hearing those words still made his heart soar.

"I want that too," Jimin whispered, his eyes shining. "I want us to keep making memories. Together."

Jungkook smiled, that same confident, yet soft expression that always made Jimin melt. He pulled Jimin closer, wrapping his arms around him as they stood by the river, the city lights twinkling in the distance.

And in that moment, everything felt perfect.
