Aqua PoV

Being reincarnated as the child of the idol you've admired for quite a while is a unique situation not many can relate to. Which, to my assumption, is only unique to two people; myself and the person I was born alongside with. Some might even call this a blessing in disguise, because what fan wouldn't want to get a closer look into the private life of the idol you admire? Being closer to that person, and feeling important to them.

It is strange, I'll admit. And sometimes really wrong and awkward ( for reference: breastfeeding ) but it's endearing to watch Ai navigate her life with an infectious optimism. Birthing twins and raising them at the young age of 16 is already hard on paper, but she's never once given up, and I can say for certain that giving us away has not once crossed her mind. For as long as I can remember, she's always sticking close to us whenever her schedule allowed her. Often coddling and spoiling us ( much to Miyako's dismay ), and though I feel embarrassed about being treated like a baby when I'm mentally in my 30's, it'd also be a lie to say I didn't like it. Perhaps it's because I was never raised by my actual parents, since my biological mother had died when she'd given birth to me, and my father was unknown. Ironically enough, I am placed in a similar situation in this new life, except that my new mother is actually alive.

And now, my " father " in this life is known.

What to say about him...

Seeing him for the first time was genuinely surprising. I remember cursing the man who managed to swoon Ai's heart and then get her pregnant and then just randomly disappearing. But after seeing how handsome the guy is, I no longer wonder how he'd managed to swoon Ai-- she was a young girl after all. Youngsters these days usually get themselves into all sorts of situations, teenage pregnancy being one thing. I previously thought the guy knew about Ai's pregnancy, but after observing his behaviour for the past couple of hours, he seems to carry a baggage only Ai seems to know about.

Speaking of which, throughout the last four years, Ai's never mentioned anything about him. Not once.

Yet, the moment she ( accidentally ) overheard my and Ruby's conversation. She didn't hesitate to call him over. And he actually came. It makes me wonder just what their relationship really was like. He doesn't seem like a bad guy.... but he does give the feeling of a troubled young man.

" I'm sorry, " Hikaru bows his head down apologetically in front of Ai, Miyako, and Ichigo. " I really am. "

Ichigo-san only sighs, lifting two fingers to squeeze the crease between his brows, trying to keep his composure. But he doesn't seem too mad. After all, besides that little slip up with Ruby, the entire performance of B-Komachi was a success and Ai's name is bound to spread on a national level after performing in a big stage like that. She could even reach more viewers overseas now that I think about it.
