I got in the dorm as soon as we got dismissed. It's like I'm the fastest campus leaver I know.

"Shuta, akala ko seryoso at mature na mga tao sa college, mga gaga at parang highshoolera pa rin pala!" I heard Frank ranted.

"'Di ba? Maybe kasi they're healing their inner teens?" Cairo responded.

"Inner teens?" pag-uulit nila nang sabay annoyingly.

It's the usual loudness and stupidity that welcomed me. Pumasok ako ng kwarto and binuksan ang ilaw. I pulled out my other backpack and filled it in with the things na dadalhin ko pauwi.

I'm going home. Since nag-announced na walang pasok tomorrow because of the freshie parade, I decided to go home tonight. I don't wanna attend that hideous parade. The hell is even that?

As soon as I finished packing, naghanda na ako sa pag-alis. I looked at myself in the mirror.

Cairo looked at me. They're both busy preparing their meals.

"I'm going home."

Natigilan sila. "Bakit?"

I raised my shoulders. "Just want to."

Why do I even have to explain and answer that? That got me annoyed.

"Kain ka muna, masarap 'to."

I looked at what they're dinner is. Eggs and pancit canton? I frowned, feeling some kind of ick. "Bakit nag-uulam kayo ng pansin canton? Kadiri."

"Ay, wow!" Frank exclaimed and put his hands around his waist like a mom scolding a child, "masarap kaya 'yan!"

"Yeah, to people like you." I put down the baso and walked papalapit sa pintuan palabas.

"Aba, layas na nga! Kakabwiset!" Frank shouted.

"Glad to do so!" I shouted back before closing the door full-forced.

Fucking pricks. Thank God, I'm not gonna see them until next week. They really annoy the hell out of me whenever they're being loud. They're funny sometimes, but whatever.

My phone suddenly vibrated when I got off the second floor. I stopped to check the notification. It's from our section GC.

Bars!

I rolled my eyes and put my phone back in my pocket. The hell? I left with no choice, but to climb back up the stairs.

"Oh, ba't ka bumalik?! Pagkatapos mo kaming iwan ng anak mo rito? Lumayas ka na!" Frank shouted at me as he even stood up from the dining table and pointed the fork he's holding to me.

"Award!" Cairo clapped.

"Just shut up!" I said, still pissed off. Binaba ko ang bag sa couch and naglakad sa kitchen to prepare my dinner.

We now share rice to avoid the incident that happened before. Ayoko pa nga, pinilit lang nila. Pero sa ulam, ayoko talaga. I took out the pack of nuggets out of my cooler.

"Kain ka na rito!" Cairo called me.

I looked at him and shook my head. "Ayoko, I'll just cook nuggets."
