Two Years

Daryl POV

I just got my results back and I have cancer this can't be happening me and Chris got married after two years and this is the news I get

Chris POV

Daryl told me he hasn't been feeling well so he went to the hospital he hasn't came back yet and I'm worried about him Dinah is two years old now

Daryl was in the parking lot deep in thought on how he was going to tell Chris that he has cancer

Daryl POV

I was deep in thought on how I was going to tell Chris that I got cancer i had no idea that I was in the house or Chris in front of me

Daryl: what

Chris: you ok

Daryl: oh ....yea ....I'm fine(came to the kitchen)

Chris knew something was wrong so he came to kitchen to see Daryl staring at the window

Chris: babe

Daryl didn't hear Chris call his name so Chris came behind him

Chris: baby

Daryl: yes(snapped out of his thoughts)

Chris: what's wrong

Daryl: it's nothing Chris

Chris: babe come on what's up

Daryl took a deep breathe and he faced Chris who had a concerned look on his face

Chris: babe what's wrong ....please tell me

Daryl: babe .....I went to the hospital to see what was wrong

Chris: ok is everything ok

Daryl: well....no not really

Chris: oh my god are you ok

Daryl: babe I don't know how to tell you this

Chris: what

Daryl: I .....have cancer

Chris eyes turned glossy like he was about to cry

Chris: what

Daryl: I have cancer Chris

Chris: for how long

Daryl: last year but it didn't come up until now

Chris: babe I'm so sorry

Daryl: it's ok

Chris: so what happens now

Daryl: I don't know

Suddenly the phone ringed and Chris answered 

Chris: it's for you

Daryl: thanks....hello....yes.....oh ok .....thank you ...you as well

Chris: what he say

Daryl: I think you should sit down for this

Chris sat down and prepared himself for what Daryl was about to tell him

Daryl: that was my doctor he told me that.....I don't have long to live

Chris: what(crying) how long do you have

Daryl: six months

Chris: babe you can't leave me we just got married two years and plan on starting a family

Daryl: I know that Chris but what choice do I have

Chris cried his eyes out and Daryl tried to hug him but Chris got up and locked himself in the bathroom

Daryl: babe please open the door

Chris: no

Daryl: please daddy

He opened the door and Daryl stared at him he felt so bad for Chris

Daryl: Chris I don't want to leave either but this is life

Chris: we didn't even start a family

Daryl: we still can .....we just have to find someone

Chris: who

Daryl: I know a person she'll carry the child

Chris: ok

Daryl: stop crying(dried his tears) we have six months together so let's make the most of it

Chris: ok and let's start this family

Daryl: right behind you

So Daryl called her up and they got started on their family ....chris was deep in thought the love of his life only had six months to live

Chris POV

I can't believe the love of my life is not going to be here in the next six months I was devastated we shared our love and live with each other not only that we got married two years ago

Daryl knew Chris was deep in thought and he told the nurse to put Chris blood in her for the sake of the baby she nodded

Chris lifted up his shirt and she got the blood sample from him

Nurse: All done

Chris: thanks(walked out)

Daryl knew Chris couldn't be in the room he walked out to cry his eyes out

Daryl: Chris

Suddenly he heard soft cries it was Chris Daryl hugged him and didn't let him go he knew Chris needed to let it out

Daryl: I'm sorry Chris

All Chris could do was cry his eyes out this was not the time for him to

Two weeks later

Daryl POV

Chris hasn't ate in days all he do is sleep since I told him the news he shut himself out and doesn't talk to anyone expect his mom and the kids I felt bad for telling him

Chris POV

I haven't spoken to anyone expect my mom and the kids I haven't ate since Daryl told me the news I was to numb

So Daryl did Chris a favor and bought the kids over he knew they would cheer him up ....so he scheduled a day for him and the kids to go out to keep his mind occupied

Daryl:Chris get up theres a surprise for you downstairs

Chris slowly got out the bed and threw on some sweats and a tshirt

He came downstairs and the kids surprised him his face lit up with a smile

Chris: ahh you guys are so sweet....thank you

So the kids were going to take him out and made sure he get better

They took silly pictures together and they made Chris smile throughout the day

Dinah: daddy can we get on this

Chris: ok come on

So Chris and the kids got on the rides it was truly a lot of fun after a god hour they came home

Daryl: did you guys have fun

The kids said yes they had fun and Chris stared at Daryl

Chris: thank you

Daryl: you're welcome ....you hungry

Chris: no I already ate

Daryl: ok but glade to see you back

Chris: thanks

Niko: Daddy can you help me

Chris: ok little man here I come

So he came to take them a bath and got them ready for bed

Chris put them bed and then he came to see Daryl asleep.....Chris stared at him for a few and gave him a kiss on the forehead then he came to bed
