ALEX

"That's not my ceiling..." was my first thought as I awoke, a haze of confusion clouding my mind as I struggled to piece together the events of the previous night. Slowly, the memories began to surface. Oh, right... it was quite late when we arrived at the mansion, and Emilia had graciously shown me to my room.

I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, feeling the plush fabric beneath my feet as I stood up and stretched my limbs. A wave of satisfaction washed over me, accompanied by the familiar sound of my shoulders cracking—a small reminder of the physicality I had become accustomed to. As I turned to survey the space that had been assigned to me, I couldn't help but appreciate my surroundings. The guest room was elegant, a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort. The king-sized bed was draped in soft, dark fabrics, while the adjoining bathroom radiated an air of opulence, its black and gold design unmistakably signaling nobility.

I made my way to the ornate mirror hanging on the wall, my reflection catching me off guard. Just as I remembered from the stat book I had perused the previous day, my original black hair remained, but my eyes—now a striking shade of crimson-red—held an allure that was both captivating and enchanting. I found myself smiling at the transformation; this new look suited me far better than the previous one. I had always taken pride in my physique, honed through extensive training, but somehow, my body now appeared even more sculpted and defined—an upgrade I certainly welcomed.

My moment of self-admiration was abruptly interrupted by a soft knock at the door, pulling me back to reality. Who could it be at this early hour? Emilia, perhaps? "Come in," I called out, curious to see who would enter.

The door opened to reveal a pair of twins, their presence strikingly unexpected.

"Alexander-sama, you already woke up," the blue-haired one chimed, her voice a duet with her sister.

"Alexander-sama, you woke up early," echoed the other, her pink hair bouncing slightly as she spoke.

I felt a twitch in my left eye at their synchronized words. They wore maid outfits that could easily belong at a cosplay event, and their hair colors—unusual yet oddly fitting—only added to the surreal atmosphere. Instinctively, I drew a comparison to my younger brothers , albeit in a more feminine form.

Despite their vibrant blue and pink hair, which might normally unsettle me, there was something natural about their appearance; perhaps it was the way their outfits complemented their distinct styles. Emilia's own silver hair had a similar charm, making it hard to think poorly of such striking features. Still, the combination of their bright hair and cute demeanor left me feeling somewhat flustered.

"Good morning," I greeted them with a polite smile, keen to break the ice. "May I ask what your names are?"

"I am Rem," the blue-haired twin responded, pointing toward her sister with a modest smile. "And this is Rem's nee-sama, Ram."

"Pleasure to meet you both. What brings you to my room this morning?" I inquired, genuinely curious.

"We came here to awaken you," Rem stated matter-of-factly, "but it seems unnecessary."

"Yes, we came to wake you up, but you already did," Ram added, her tone remarkably similar.

"It doesn't surprise Rem for some reason. You look like a competent person," Rem noted, her expression calm.

"It doesn't shock me. You look like a diligent person," Ram echoed, her voice as steady as ever.

"Thank you," I replied, a slight chuckle escaping my lips. Inwardly, I rolled my eyes at their formality, but I couldn't help but feel slightly flattered; after all, I did possess rank-A charisma! "Is Emilia awake too?"
