“Martin! What are you doing?!” Isabella shouted as she ran to stand in between him and Mr Felix. Martin was about to land another punch when he restrained himself.

“Father, what happened here? I heard about what Madison did,” Isabella said as she tried to touch her father's wounds inflicted by Martin, but he moved backwards.

Martin simply picked up Madison in his arms with bloodshot eyes.

“Martin, say something. What happened here?” Isabella insisted, but he didn't turn to look at them.

“If anything should happen to Madison, you won't just rot in jail, you'll be finished,” was all he said before walking out of the office with Madison in his arms.

All the employees gave way when they saw him advancing towards the door with anger in his eyes.

The members of the prosecution office came out of their cars and started running to Mr Felix's office.

“Father, did you…did you try to kill Madison?” Isabella asked softly after a moment of silence.

“Of course not! This is all your fault for allowing that girl to work here. You must take responsibility. Get me out of jail as soon as possible, Isabella. And find out the hacker who hacked into all our computers. Make sure that person pays, okay? The company is in your hand for now,” Mr Felix said in one breath before the prosecution officers barged into his office.

“You're hereby under arrest, Mr Felix Jones. The prosecution has some questions to ask you. Questions that might not even require answers. We're also charging you with the murder of Mr Lopez. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can, and will be used against you in the court of law,” one of them said as Mr Felix was being handcuffed.

“No, you can't take him away. He's innocent, please,” Isabella kept repeating as she followed them. Mr Felix simply stared ahead with no emotions in his eyes as he was being taken away. He was pushed into their car like a criminal.

Liam watched from a distance with tears in his eyes. Isabella ran out of the company as the car was driving off.

“Wait, please!” She shouted, but they were gone already. When she turned, all the employees were watching the scene in shock.

“Get back to work, all of you! We don't pay you to laze around!” She said sternly, they immediately went back to their various duties. Isabella laced her fingers through her hair in frustration as she looked around.

“Father deserves this. I hope he'll reflect on his actions in jail,” Liam thought before walking away.

The cold breeze tossed Madison's hair about as she sat on a swing in the park that night. She just kept staring ahead blankly.

Martin appeared from behind her, and wrapped a scarf around her neck, which surprised her.

“What's this?” She asked in puzzlement, but he sat on the swing next to hers and smiled faintly.

“We don't want your mother to get worried. There's a bruise around your neck. It's all red. Wear that for a while,” he said arrogantly, but she just adjusted the scarf properly.

Martin noticed that she was quiet for a while, so he looked at her worriedly.

“Are…you okay?” He suddenly asked. She noticed how worried he was, so she smiled faintly.
