Best Friends Sister

*two weeks from Saturday*

Y/N POV:

Finally landed in New Austin, I am mostly here to see my brother. And I know some people might be like, why did I move here? Well, I got a new job. I didn't mention it to my brother yet cause I am working under a man named Captain Price as a secretary or assistant. He is in the same base as my brother, but I am sure I won't be seeing him to keep us both safe.

When doing my resume, I never put my last name, I use my middle name as my last name to hide who I am. My brother and I are not ashamed. It's just easier as some might try to find me and try to get information out of me about my brother.

I eventually arrive at the base, I take my stuff out of the car that was sent to collect me when my plane landed. I showed the guard my badge as it was sent to me two weeks prior. I wheel my suitcase and my bag inside the base. The giant metal doors shut behind me.

I set my stuff down for a split second to take in my surroundings. To my left new recruits, I assume they are training and some running laps. To my right, some people on picnic tables and benches, some eating, some talking some staring at me.

I look straight to see Captain Price. We talked over screen for a while to get acquainted. With him, a man in a Ghost mask emerged from behind him.

"Y/N!" Captain Price exclaims and gives me a hug. I step back a bit and hold my hand out to the masked man. He takes my hand and shakes it. When we part, the masked man grabs my bag and suitcase. I watch as he takes it inside the facility. I follow Captain Price, who was telling me just a little bit about what my job is here. "I will introduce you to my team tonight at 1700." He says and leads me to where I will be staying.

"Yes, sir," I say, and with that, Captain Price nods his head and walks away. I go in my room and close and lock the door behind me. I begin unpacking, setting up and moving the furniture around to make it more me.

By the time I finished organizing and moving things around, it was 30 minutes till 1700. So I began walking to where Price Office was. Luckily, he showed me on my walk to my room where it was, so I just needed to retrace my steps.

"Alright, men, due to the level of stress this job takes, I have hired a secretary to make all our lives easier. She should be here momentarily." I heard Captain Price say, and I knock on the door. Was told to enter, so I did. Closing it behind me. The only light in the room was the light over the table. I walk over and stand next to Captain Price.

"Men, this is Y/N M/N (middle name), our new secretary." When Captain Price said, my name turned my head and looked at everyone in front of me. 2 wearing masks, one was a skull, the man i seen before. I looked at everyone else and then froze when my eyes landed on him. My brother, I thought he was in a different division. My brother (Soap) obviously caught my staring cause when he noticed me, he sensed up and looked away.

I quickly advert my gaze and look straight in front of me.

"Now, we need you tomorrow to learn some defensive moves and safety moves to keep you safe," Captain Price said, bringing me back to reality.

"Who here will do me the honors to show Y/N how we do it here?" Price said, and in my head, i was praying my brother wouldn't reply.

"I will do it." I sigh and look at my brother. As he stands up from the table glaring at me. I look at him and give him a slight smile.

"Thank you, soap." Captain Price saying his name as if you don't know his code name already. "You two will meet in the gym at 800. You all have a good rest of your night and sleep well, " Captain Price said, dismissing everyone.

I left the room and kept replaying the events of today in my head. Just as I am in my own mind, someone grabs my arm, and my being dazed didn't realize who it was at first.

"Can I speak you for a second, please?" The man said and pulled me into a different room. Closing the door behind me. It was my brother.

"Listen, I can explain!" I say defensively as Soap closes the curtains to the door. Walking around, making sure no one was in the room. Once the coast was clear, he turned to look at me.

"Well? What were you thinking!? Didn't it occur to you that I would be here!?" Soap says obviously aggrivated by the situation.

"I didn't think you were part of Captain Price crew. Plus, I needed a better job, one with benefits and plus I knew this could keep me safe" I say honestly.

Soap runs his hands through his hair and paces around. I watch every move he makes.

"Why did you agree to train me?" I ask him.

"Cause I don't need anyone else touching you. No one to try and pry information out of you while training. I am your best and honestly nicest person who could have volunteered, " He says and looks at me now with sympathy.

"This honestly was not how I wanted to tell you," I say, looking at him.

He comes up to me and hugs me. I hug back, burying my head on his chest. Tears welled in my eyes as I couldn't hold back my tears.

We stayed in this embrace for a while before deciding it was time to go to bed, in order to be well rested for tomorrow.
