When they had reached the courtyard, Nick rushed foward and hugged Jay, but felt something wet on his back and based on the look Jay gave him and the hiss he let out at the hug, Nick knew exactly what had happened.

"Why the hell are you standing out here. Get your ass into a cell, so you can get treated, you dull fuck!" Nick hissed at him.

"Relax Nick, I'm okay. No where near as bad as the ones we used to get." Jay said trying to make his brother worry less, but gave up at the glare Nick gave him.

Nick followed Jay into the the cell block and Jay looked at the newbies.

"Keep walking." Nick ordered his brother.

"You know I'm older right?" Jay laughed shoving Nick lightly.

"Yeah, well when your only brother is dumb enough to get himself kidnapped, you can expect one to be a little over baring, esspiacially when you break a pink promise." Nick grumbled.

"Were you worried about me?" Jay laughed walking into a cell.

Nick just glared, not liking that his brother was making jokes about almost dying. Not that he could say much, he does the exact same thing, but it doesn't mean he has to like it.

Jay turned around to look at his brother and sighed, giving his younger brother a hug, forgetting that he was only thirteen. "I'm sorry Nick. I din't mean to scare you."

"Lets get your back sorted." Nick said and Jay wordlessly layed belly down on the bottom bunk.

Nick lifted Jays shirt and sure enough his brother was telling the truth, it wasn't nearly as bad as what their beetings used to be, but some still needed a few stiches and it deffinatly needed cleaning.

Nick got to work and was done by the time everyone had rushed the newbies out after Rick had cone crazy, but Nick didn't go help with that, and just continued to patch his brother up, while he told him how, while one guy beat Glenn, one inapropratly touched Maggie, another was an old foster parent they had, and figured he could get a few answers from him by using an old punishment, but it didn't work.

Jay rolled on his side and Nick layed next to him and said how they were all thrown into the same room and that, both he and Maggie had been shirtless, and Glenn had given his shirt to maggie, and Glenn had tried to do what he could to clean up his back, but they had next to nothing in the room, and he made a plan to make a jail break.

After hearing the story, Nick bit his lip and decided to ask a question. "Did Daryl really leave because of his brother?"

Jay sighed. Even though Nick was always good at hiding his emotions, it was very easy for him to get hurt, and Nick was always the one to feal it the most when the two got dumped back at the orphanage, and with Daryl leaving that's probably how he felt now, abandoned again.

"Yeah. Merle, he was the one that kidnapped us and beat Glenn, so Rick wouldn't let him come back here, and Daryl didn't want to leave his brother again, which we both know, that if it was us in that suituation, we would of done the same."

"Yeah, I know. It's just..." Nick paused and looked away from Jay, "I thought that maybe now the cycle would break ya know. That we wouldn't get left again. That we could have people we could call family. You know, finally have a dad, one that we don't have to lie about, and be scared off."

Jay gave another sigh and hugged his brother. "Yeah. I know."

After a while Jay had gone to sleep and Nick went to find Glenn and saw him sitting in one of the cells, looking a little worse for ware. He knocked on the wall of the cell and Glenn looked up, a little surprised to see him.

"I thought you would be with your brother." Glenn said raising an eye brow.

"I was, he's just gone to sleep."

"How is he?" Glenn asked, with genuine concern.

"He's had worse." Nick shrugged and Nick sat next to him and looked at his hands. "Thanks, for doing your best for him there."

"I told you Nick. You and your brother are part of this family, and people will do anything for family." Glen said wrapping an arm around the teen and Nick hesitantly completed the hug.

"What did you do before the dead started walking?" Nick asked out of the blue.

"Delivered pizza's. Why?" Glenn asked confused.

"You don't like being called China Man, so I need something else." Nick answered.

"And what will it be?" Glenn smiled.

"Pizza Hut. From now on, your name is no longer China Man, but is now Pizza Hut." He declared.

"Okay then." Glenn laughed, then clutched his side.

"Bruised, possibley cracked the first rib. Use a cold compress. It'll help more than the pain killers we got." Nick advised and he left going back to Jay's cell and laying back next to him, going to sleep.
