About ten minutes later the entire group came back in, and the brothers were just itching to know what was going on, so when they heard their group come back into the common area, they also entered it and they saw a blonde woman that they had never seen before, but she seemed to know everyone but them.

She was shocked and asked about the people of the group who had died, and mentioned another name that the brothers didn't know. And at the mention of Lori dying, she gave pittying looks to both, Carl and Rick.

"You all live here?" She questioned.

"Here and the cell block" Glenn answered with a nod.

"There? Well can I go in?" She asked moving towards it.

"I won't allow that." Rick said stepping in her path.

"I'm not an enemy Rick." She scoffed

"We had that faild and courtyard, until your boyfriend tore down the fence with a truck and shot us up."

"He said you fired first."

"Well he's lying." She looked at Rick incredulously.

"He killed an inamte who survived in here." Hershel said.

"We liked him, he was one of us." Daryl added.

"I didn't know anything about that. As soon as I found out I came. I didn't even know you were in Woodbury until after the shoot-out."

"That was days ago."

"I told you, I came as soon as I could." She sighed heavily and turned on Michonne. "What have you told them?"

"Nothing." Michonne said cooly.

"I don't get it. I left Atlanta with you people, and now I'm the odd man out?"

"He almost killed Michonne and he would of killed us." Glenn emphisised.

"With his finger on the trigger!" She yelled pointing a finger at Merle. "Wasn't he the one who kidnapped you, who beat you." She took a deep breath. "Look I cannot excuse or explain what Philip has done. But I am here trying to bring us together. We have to work this out."

"There's nothing to work out. We're gonna kill him. I don't know how or when, but we will." Rick promised.

"We can settle this. There is room at Woodbury for all of you." She insisted.

Merle laughed. "You know better than that."

"What makes you think this man wants to negotiate?" Hershel questioned her. "Did he say that?"

"No."

"Then why did you come here?"

"Because he's gearing up for war. The people are terrified. They see you as killers. They're training to attack."

"Tell you what. Next time you see Philip, you tell him I'm gonna take his other eye." Daryl threatened.

"We've taken too much shit for too long. He want's a war, he's got one."

"Rick. If you don't sit down, and try to work this out, I don't know what's gonna happen. He's got a whole town. Look at you. You've lost so much already. You can't tand alone anymore."

"You want to make this right? get us inside."

"No."

"Then we got nothing to talk about." Rick said walking off.

"There are innocent people!" She shouted after him.

"And we're not?" Nick asked and Jay nudged him to stay quiet, but he ignored him. "Yeah, your boyfriend has a town, which probably has, kids, women, old people, disabled people, and abled bodied people. But so do we. Your argument about them being innocent doesn't work."

"They attacked us, because we went to get our people back, from them, who they kept solely because your boyfriend wanted more power. If they had been free to leave, there wouldn't of been a shoot out, there wouldn't of been casualties on both sides, we would still have the field and courtyard, your people wouldn't be scared out of their minds and preping for war, and we wouldn't have to fear being spotted in the daylight to do things that we have to, to survive, like plant plants, or go on runs and hunt for food, because your boyfriend more than likely has more snipers around." Nick continued on and surprisingly everyone listened and no one shut him up.

"So tell me. Who are the innocent ones again?" Nick finally asked looking Andrea in the eye.

Andrea was shocked. She had never met this kid, or heard about him and he had the nerve to speak to her like that.

"Who are you? Better yet, how old are you?" She asked.

"Name's Nick and way to young for you, and even if you weren't so old, ya not my type." He gave her a sarcastic smile.

"Where are your parents Nick? Because you do not get to talk to me like that." Andrea said with a huff.

"So you get to talk shit to almost everyone in here, including our boss, but the moment that someone speaks facts that you don't like, because you got stockholm syndrome, isn't allowed. That's just funny to me. As for my parents? Well the closest thing I got is sitting right there." Nick said pointing to Daryl, "And the reason why he, why they are all letting me talk like this is because 1, it's facts, and two they have all collectively tried to shut me up, multiple times and it hasn't worked. If I have something to say, I say it."

"You really going to let him speak like that?" Andrea asked Daryl in a state of shock.

"Don't see a problem with it. He was speaking the truth. Why should he be repreminded for speaking the truth, or his mind? Anyone got a problem with what he said?" Daryl asked the group and everyone shook their head causing Andrea to scoff and she walked outside.

Nick watched her leave then turned to Daryl, feigning confusion, "Was it something I said?"

Daryl shook his head with a light smile and ruffled the boys hair. "Nah, she just doesn't like it when she doesn't get her way."

"Really I couldn't tell." Nick said saracstically.

"That's enough of the saracsam."

Nick put his hands up in mock surrender and walked back into the cell block and struggled up the stairs to one of the cells. If they were going to stay and defend the prison then he couldn't keep all his stuff and sleep on the perch with Daryl there also, so he decided to see how long he could stay in a cell before the walls started to close in around him and make him panic.

He decided it would be a good idea to have something to ocupy his mind, he took in his sketchbook, and the tennis ball and sat on one of the bunks and started to draw. After about five minutes, he started to feel sick, and was about to get up and leave but Jay came in and asked what he was doing.

Nick explained and Jay offered to stay with him, but Nick explained that he knew he could stay in a cell with him, as he slepted the day that he got back from Woodbury, so he had to do it on his own. Jay understood and left his brother too it and after another five minutes Nick left.

He would try again in a bit, but for now he has done enough.
