Day 7: field medicine / running out of supplies -JD doing Branch

Branch wakes up to another day in the bunker with his brothers. "Hey everyone." "Hey "Branch clay just made breakfast for everyone." "Oh thanks Clay." "No problem." "I'm gonna go get the plates." "Ok Branch." I go up the elevator and see that a lot of my supplies are gone. I return with the plates not to happy and ask. "Hey where is all of my supplies?" Clay answers and says. " I don't know I saw the shelves that way." Floyd says. "I'm not sure maybe JD knows." So I go and find John and to my surprise outside I find John feeding Randa all of my food supplies. "What do you think you're doing?!" "Oh good morning Branch I'm just feeding Ronda she was really hungry and I knew that you had a lot of food lying around so I just grabbed some and feed it to Ronda." "John! You shouldn't take things without asking!! You toke all of my food supplies!!" "Wow B it's just a little food." It's not a little food! My whole stock is gone! Now I need to go and restock!" I go to get more stuff for my storage. I made sure to grab something to put the supplies in and a checklist. I had a awesome wagon that I built myself with a lot of color sorted baskets with a spot for my checklist so I went to go and get the things that I put that I needed. As I was a couple of miles away I heard John Dory screaming my name. "Hey Branch wait up!" I stop so he could catch up. He was out of breath and all tired when he caught up to me. "Thanks, look I get what I did was wrong. But let me make it up to you." I cross my arms and try to see what he is going to say. "Let me help you gather more food." "What?" Let me help you. At least then it can go by faster." "Fine, but I have a system so follow me." Sure, sure." As he steals the checklist from my hands and pulls the wagon. "Onward!" I just follow him and hope that he can just get it done. After a couple of hours John has looked at food and just put it in random basket, I checked what he grabbed and put them in the right basket. "Alright I think that should be good we have all the food we need." "What? This is only enough for maybe couple of days for of us." "Oh I guess I'm still used to getting stuff for myself." "Ugh I've had it." I walk away to try and calm down. But then a giant Spider jumps in front of me I was able to fight it off but I was in bad shape my hair was sprained and my leg was scratched and broken. I see a small stick that I try to reach for until. "Branch! Branch!" Oh no not him not now. "Branch, What happened?!" "Oh I decided to throw a bunch of rocks at my legs." I tell him sarcastically. "Wow that sounds like one of the worst things to do." "Really?! I was being sarcastic!" "Oh, that makes more sense." I roll my eyes and get back to trying to wrapping my leg by grabbing that stick. "Oh here let me get that." He hands me the stick. "Thanks." "Do you need anything else." I'm gonna need something do disinfect the scratches." "I'm On it." While I semi worry about what he is going to bring I get the stick in position for when I am ready I had some ribbon in my hair which stings when I touched it. I put my leg back in place all I need is to disinfect the wounds before I wrap it. "Im back and I brought some flavor berry tree sap." "Wow I'm impressed you knew what to get." "Well I was living in the woods for a long time. You learn a thing or two." "Alright." He puts it on the scratches then wraps his leg. "Mind giving me a hand." "No don't mind at all lil bro." He gets him to his feet then they both walk home. "Hey Branch, I really am sorry for earlier." "Yeah my too." "Forgive and forget?" "He Forgive and forget." They shake hands and get Branch into bed while JD explains what happened to Branch. Man what a day!
