Day 25: Betrayal -Branch

Everyone has a song and a flow in Troll village even to their siblings and couples they have a song together but Branch and Poppy don't have a song that fits them I mean yes they have True Colors but does that really see their true relationship Branch and Poppy try to find a new song for them they go from song after song but can't find it. One day Branch goes out
And try's to gather more supplies for his bunker, like food, sticks, and water and yet while he was doing this his mind was thinking about Poppy so he starts singing from his heart.

After all that he saw that he was alone again at least he thought he was someone was hiding in the bushes waiting for a moment like this. He waited for Branch to start picking up his sticks again then he struck him from behind then started running towards Troll village. After a couple of hours Branch woke up and instantly knew that what happened wasn't a accident so he carefully picked himself up then headed towards Troll village. When he got there he instantly saw who did it and he wanted to strangle him. "Creek?! What are you doing back here?!" "I'm here to redeem myself and to show my love to Poppy." "Ha you don't love Poppy!" "Oh but I do you should have heard the song I wrote for her and sang to her a little while ago about her being the song of my heart." "What that was my song!" "Oh was it I just heard it in the wind, it was like it was made for me and Poppy and we are getting back together." Branch was shocked. "What? But she wouldn't. She would never." "Oh but she did just ask her yourself or anyone who was watching." Branch felt betrayed like his heart was ripped out. He walked back to the bunker and locked himself in his room. He was crying on his bed feeling so heart broken and singing softly.

Floyd has been staying with Branch for a while since he recently moved back to Troll village and he had no where to live yet. He listens to Branch crying and singing in the other room and wonders what has him so down so he goes to Poppy's house to see if she knows. He knocks and asks if she knew why Branch was upset. "No. Why would Branch." She stops and understands what must have happened. "Omg He must have run into Creek." "Creek? Who's Creek?" "My ex boyfriend, he showed up back into the village today when we thought he was dead." "Oh yeah that might do something." "Oh I better go talk to him. Thanks for telling me." "No problem." Poppy runs to the Bunker and gets inside and finds the room Branch is in then knocks on the door. "Branch? Sweetie can we talk?" "What's there to talk about? I know what your gonna say, I was right your going to leave me now because Creek is back and he sang you my song and now our relationship is over." "What?! No, I would never trade you for anything. He tried to win my over, but I still love you and there is nothing Creek will do to change my mind." Branch slowly opens the door and peaks out. "Really?" "Yes I promise you." Branch comes out and hugs her for a little while. "What was that about him stealing your song?" "Oh that song he sang to you was mine." "What?!" "Yeah he heard me singing it in the woods." "Well I'd say I love it.""really?" "Of course and I think we found our song." Branch thought for a minute to think of the lyrics and everything the song meant to him and agreed it was their song. "Now I think we need to have a talk with Creek about stealing your song." "Oh I like the sound of that."
