Day 13: using yourself as bait - Jack and Bunny

Bunny was counting his eggs for Easter. He had 1,000 eggs ready to be painted and polished. He had almost counted them all when he felt a cold breeze and he knew what that meant, Jack Frost was looking for trouble. "Hey Bunny, whatcha doin?" "I'm counting the eggs to check and make sure I have enough for Easter and I don't need you to bug me. So shoo." "Well no can do because... I need your help. You see the Spring Sprites are coming as you know and well they would like to ask you some questions about Easter." "What why." As he finally looks up from the notepad he was holding to number the eggs. "I don't know, they just knew that I was a Guardian now and that I was close to you-" "I wouldn't say close." "Anyway.. they knew I could get in contact with you, so they asked if I could see you sometime today." "Why today?" "Because it's the only time they are closer to you and that they aren't busy." Bunny shrugged his shoulders and looked back at his notepad. "Fine but let me finish up here then we'll go meet with them ok." "Sounds good." Jack just sits back and doesn't do anything doesn't even look suspicious maybe he's telling the truth. After a couple of hours, Bunny finishes counting the eggs and sees he needs a few more but that can wait. "Alright that should be it. Let's go see these Spring Sprites you were talking about." Jack jumps up and walks toward one of the tunnels in Australia and then waits for Bunny to open it. Then he leads him to where there's a spring of water near by. "Alright they should be up ahead." "Alright." Jack acts like he's about to fall over he is looking dizzy and is looking down with is hand to his head. "Hey you good mate." "Yeah. I think I just need to sit down for a minute. You go ahead I'll catch up." "Alright if you're sure." I go to the spring and find myself face to face with a Bunyan!! I didn't know that this was what I was getting myself into, I shouldn't have let my guard down. "Jack you dirty little rat!!" I said without thinking because it caught its attention. I started to run because there was no reasoning with it. It was chasing me for a long, long time before something cold came froM behind me so I turned around and saw that it was frozen solid. I looked around looking for the little monster that caused all this and on top of the Bunyan is the one who did it laughing so hard. "Oh that was good." "What was that about?" "Well I needed a distraction so I can get something back." "So I Was Bait?!!" "Yes. See I new you'd understand. Thanks for your help by the way." Jack flys away as Bunny yells his anger at him.
